They are sending a replacement for the "funny noise" clock, so I'm giving them a provisional 4 Stars - - If the clock stays true for a few weeks, and proves to be as high a quality as their Customer Service, I will raise my rating to 5 Stars. In fact, if the clock is as good as their Customer Service, I'll buy a couple more of them. It *is* a beautiful clock with very clear numerals and a simple, elegant design which goes perfectly in our :"computer" room. ____________________________________ **Original Review** I don't recall just when I began being bothered by an intermittent, but teeth-clenching, high-pitched whine in my computer work area. I tried turning off all the electronics, one by one without eliminating the noise. Finally, I realized that it was coming from this clock's mechanism. While I was happy that it wasn't one of our computers or printers, it was still disappointing. I really liked this clock. It looked just terrific on the wall, but putting it in the dining room was no better... the whine too obnoxious. I finally had to remove the battery. I've had it almost three months, so I guess it's "no returns," but I'd like a word with the manufacturer. Maybe I will try that. I'd love the clock otherwise.* *See Update. how clock works
I do not leave the clock outside/outside I take it to pool when I go out. it is on our enclosed deck most of the time. I like the clock I can see it from across the pool however the paper inside with numbers on them is already not looking to good. and it has only been outside a few times as we have had a lot of rain. not sure I will get a whole year out of it. and for themoney and being an outdoor clock should not have a problem.

Excellent clock. Highly recommend
Bought this months ago. It's still (not) ticking along nicely. It keeps good time and is quiet enough that is call it silent.

Not worth the hassle!
Horrible. Didn’t even work. Very cheap feeling and the paper where the numbers are is stained. Returning!
