Q: Do i need a phantom power

Not if you plan to just plug it straight into a pic or laptop with their own soundcard. I have mind plugged straight into the PC and it works perfectly. If you want to connect it to an amp or anything else like that, though you would need the phantom power

Stay away from this!

As expected this is absolute rubbish!Buy it, if you need a decorative item apart from that it’s useless!Don’t waste your money!The sound is awful, the mounting is awful, the pop filter is awful, the usb unit is awful.It’s just nothing!
