Samy Fat Hair Amplifying Hair Spray 10 Ounce (295ml)

I adore this hair product ! So much so that I have chased it all over the Eastern coast line. I have used thousands of hair sprays that say they increase the volume of the hair. When they do, they are stiff, difficult to brush afterwards, or make my hair so coatd that I feel I need to wash it after every use. But not Samy's ! I found it many, many years ago, and find this is the best product ever, and it's not over-priced like so many special products are. It is soft, smells nice, and works wonders on my aging, baby fine hair. I would use it for a regular hair spray, even if I didn't need it for a root lifter or volumnizer. It is a superb root lifer ! I urge everyone to try it.

GREAT hair spray. This spray immediately adds fullness and body to my fine, short hair. I have thrown away many, many products that don't work like the advertising claims. I can spray and use my "pick" to lift and separate and it holds up all day. I never spray more that just the one time in the morning. With such fine hair, I usually have to wash every day but I can skip two or three days now. This is a good product for me.

While I like this hairspray and that it holds my hair through EVERYTHING, I do have to use more of it than other sprays I've used in the past. However, this spray holds much better than those sprays that last longer. I will buy this product again and if you don't care to use a lot of spray bu want an excellent hold this may be the product for you.

This is the only hairspray I've found that works for very thin, very fine, and curly hair. Almost every product out there is far too heavy for me to use as it makes my hair look greasy or just flat. I like my curls as it help add a bit of body to my hair, but couldn't find a hairspray light enough to not weigh my hair down, strong enough to actually last the day, yet still allow some movement to avoid the dreaded "helmet head" look. This seems to be a bit... fibrous is the only word I can think of, though it's microscopic. Think invisible spray on hair net. It keeps everything in place, doesn't look like you've used anything, and allows enough bounce to look natural. This stuff is amazing.

This hair spray is awesome. If you want your style to stay, buy it. If you want to add volume, buy it. Your hair also remains soft to the touch and brushes out easily. Holds like gum on a shoe...lol, however, it also leaves residue on sink counter, walls that can be felt to the touch. Keep wipes available for quick clean up. Excellent product

After reviewing the shampoo, which I found fine, but not worth the extra money, I find I have to give the hairspray a failing grade. I have a terrible problem with scented products and I could not stand this on my hair for more than 5 minutes. Where the shampoo is lightly scented and I could use it, there is no way in this world I could use the hairspray and not get a migraine from it's scent. I see no reason to scent any product so strongly given the user might want a perfume, too. This would overpower any other product. Offering it in an unscented choice would much improve my scoring of this produst, as I might've been able to use it long enough to see if it actually thickened my hair. As it is, I cannot give advice in that area. To others who have no problem with highly scented products, this would be fine, I suppose; but to others like me, beware.

I love this spray because it makes it easier to style my hair and it stays in place all day. It gives your hair a thicker appearance as well. I do use my regular spray along with it but then again I am very fussy with my sprays and this has passed the test for me.

Sorry, but when you spend over $10 for a simple bottle of hairspray, you kind of expect to be able to, well, spray it. The nozzle made a "snap!" noise the second time I went to use it and hasn't really worked right since. Every morning is a guessing game, trying to figure out where (or if) the spray will land on my head since it seems to come out in almost random directions. Some of the droplets come out big and thick and I these super wet spots that I have to let dry, then comb out. Because it's an aerosol can, it's not that easy to just pour the contents into another spray bottle. If the spray part worked right, I'd give this product 5 stars - it really does all the good things the other reviewers talk about. Good hold, doesn't weigh down hair, etc. Samy, put this stuff in a regular pump bottle, please!
