VCM's over-the-radiator cold air intake kit offers huge horsepower gains by maximizing air flow with a straight ram-air design and massive K&N filter. Because air is pulled in over the radiator, it also feeds much cooler air into your engine than other intakes, resulting in even more horsepower gains. Molded from high-quality, OEM style molded plastic, VCM's kits are some of the nicest on the market and are known for being mistaken as a factory part. You can expect a gain of up to 20-30 HP with this intake over stock, and up to 45-55 HP with a good tune. Check out the dyno chart comparing the factory output to this intake with a tune on the Australian Holden VE (known as the Pontiac G8 in the USA). Dyno tests, comparing the VCM OTR intake with various other brands, conducted by a shop in New Zealand, concluded they were able to make an additional 29.5 crank HP over the factory intake and 55 crank HP with a tune. This dyno test was on a Holden Commodore (Australian version of the G8) with a full exhaust. This new updated design features a revised PCV line setup that locates the PCV line after the MAF and eliminates the possibility of a lean code being thrown. The new injection molded housing separates for easy filter cleaning or replacement and features an airtight seal to prevent air flow and debris from bypassing the filter. This kit can be installed with simple hand tools in about 45 minutes. The radiator must be tilted back very slightly and upper radiator mounting brackets are included to achieve the required angle. The intake can be used with aftermarket MAFs and throttle bodies, but may require aftermarket silicone couplers. We sell couplers that allow this kit to work with Magnuson superchargers. The intake can also be used in a MAF-less setup using our adapter kit, sold separately, but will require a custom speed-density tune.

Beautifully crafted CAI!! Top notch!
Arrived quickly and everything is there! Best over the radiator intake crafted and in one piece! I did alot of homework before purchasing. I do recommend a couple of things, if you don't want a check engine light for unmetered air if you're running a MAF. I purchased an installation kit from Vararam which places the pcv after the MAF. Just call them and ask to have the pcv installed in the boot. I installed an improved IAT sensor w/harness in the hole where the pcv was to go. It fit perfectly! No check engine lights and the power and sound is amazing! Beautifully crafted! Just take your time installing and use the colored instructions from the Internet. So you can enlarge the pics like I did.

AWESOME PRODUCT!!!Great Fit... Great HP gains combined with a few other bolt ons....Spend the extra $$$ and get this....I have done the research on these and have had one since they were first offered in the US...and DEFINITELY worth the extra cost....do you homework, save up and GET IT...The Vararam and Roto-Fab do not even compare to this OTR....The Fillers also fill the top off nicely...have mine custom painted to match....
