Perfect size for soup or cereal. Corelli is so sturdy and dependable. Quality totally consistent. Red edge makes them look a bit higher end, very cute. Dishwasher safe — so easy — and also microwave safe, essential! Love em. Recommend.

It's funny...we've had these plates for about a month now and I still don't like to use them because they feel like the "special plates" that's reserved for company. They are GORGEOUS in person and so far they've held up really well, so I'd give them six stars if I could at the price. The design on these plates is slightly raised and that worried me, but I've scrubbed a few in the sink and they come away looking good as new. They've also been thru the dishwasher at least a dozen times and there's no chips, crack or anything like that, so I have a feeling that they'll last a long time. We haven't dropped one yet so I'm not sure if they're really shatter-proof as stated (I won't eat a sandwich off them...so I'm definitely not going to drop one on purpose!). But so far all is well. In terms of size, I think they're slightly larger than traditional dinner plates, but it's tough to tell since they're squared off. There is a round area in the center of the plate though so they stack well and are easy to hold onto (if you like walking around when you eat dinner, maybe?!?). All that said, I'm thrilled with this purchase and this will be our brand several years into the future. I have already ordered a 2nd set so we can phase out our older plates.

The only thing I have a problem with concerning Corelle bowls is that they are somewhat pricey at around $8.50 a dish, but for what they do, I'm personally okay with the cost. They are virtually unbreakable, they/re easy to clean and never become stained, and can go in an oven, microwave, dishwasher, or freezer. I became so dissatisfied with the chipped and broken ceramic dishes, and ugly stained and heat scared plastic bowls that I'm now gradually switching everything over to Corelle ware. Plus, I just found out that they even make silicone lids to fit the bowls for refrigerator storage, although they too are a little pricey at about $4.50 per lid. However, I do recommend this bowl, cost and all.

Lightweight, dishwasher safe, easy to use in microwave and holds a good size of food. I haven't dropped one so don't know if it would break but they seem good quality and look nice.

I've had Corelle plates for decades. I buy another set every 10 years or so. These are the first square ones I've bought, so I don't have any point of reference for square plates, but they do not stack evenly. I noticed, like other reviewers, that some of the edges are wavy. I have no idea if this is normal for square plates, but it's definitely not normal for round ones. Also, the logo on these are different than the logos on my round Corelle. That could be because they were updated, but it seemed odd. They seem like authentic Corelle glass, they are lightweight and beautifully printed, so even if they are factory seconds, I'm pleased with them, and would buy them again. I don't need to, I bought 2 sets to begin with:).

Can't believe I waited so long to buy these square dishes. Now is the most used dish in my kitchen. Can't beat Corelle.

I got these plates to add to the Corell set I have. I love the design & the colors. As usual nothing beats Corelli products. The price was excellent.
