Great suit case.

Well packaged and first class in appearance! One of my first Travelpro purchases for an upcoming international trip. I like the extremely easy rollability and the many zippered compartments. Very lightweight too. I've I only wish I could have purchased the larger size carry-on (21") because it would have been less expensive to purchase the SET, but the international carryon size is 19" and that is NOT sold as part of a set! I will update later AFTER this trip.

This shape of international carry on fits more items. 8 spinner wheels are superb on all surfaces!! Weight of bag is great! Included shoe and laundry bags much appreciated!! Be aware the lower outside front zipper pocket is shallow. It’s ok- I made that work. I do Wish Travel Pro would add a cup holder onto their suitcases!!

I've traveled a LOT and used a lot of suitcases and bags; this is the best unit I've used so far. It is both maneuverable and solid, and the wheels don't snag or break like they often do on the four-wheel units. I bought this about a year ago and am only writing the review now, to say that I'm just as happy with this suitcase as the day I got it. Also, it's sized to be used as a carry-on on US airlines. (Never check in luggage if you don't absolutely have to, and your travel experience will be way better!)

I travel internationally frequently for business and I don’t like to check bags. So far I have used this bag on four flts in Europe with airlines I have no status with and they let me carry on. Historically I have used two wheel pullers. This is my first 4 wheeler pusher. It works great…the wheels are very smooth and quiet and can span decent sized cracks in concrete. The only complaint was that a couple of the metal zippers seemed like they were going to break on the first couple of pulls. However, I put a tiny amount of Teflon dry lubricant on them and now they work great. I shouldn’t have to lube a brand new bag but it was not a big deal for to do so. The warranty is about as good as gets.

In my recent quest to pack more efficiently, I purchased this international carry-on for an upcoming trip to Europe. I've practiced with it twice on domestic flights and so far so good. I like the looks of this bag, sharp and understated. I believe in MOST cases, anyone who opts to carry-on luggage to save $$ and time should be able to manage their bag ON THEIR OWN and not rely on the kindness of strangers or take someone's head off. So it was important for me to be able to lift the bag fully packed over my head. So far so good. It's smaller than most carry-ons but large enough for four complete outfits, toiletries, a pair of flats, slippers, jammies, undergarments and a curling iron. I put the 3-1-1 bag in my backpack for quick access through TSA. The Eagle Creek medium Pack-it Folder fits perfectly to organize and compress shirts, sweaters, blazers and pants. I also use a variety of packing cubes to make the most of each crevice. I checked the bag once, using the expansion feature to allow for a bottle of wine. This made the bag want to tip forward which I can live with.

In principle, I would love this bag. Unfortunately, within a week of receiving it, the front zipper was broken, despite the fact that I had not used the pocket. I received this bag just before I was leaving on a series of trips and I’m very glad I did. It rolls beautifully, is lightweight, has great compartments, and packs enough for me to travel for a week with folded clothes and an extra pair of shoes. However, I left on a 5 day trip the day after I received the bag. I used the bag and it was great, but I didn’t need to use the outside pocket. Home again, I finally opened the outside pocket and closed it again, only to find that the zipper was broken (see the picture with the open zipper on both sides of the grip). I had several subsequent trips over the next 30 days and decided I did not have time to return the bag and get a new one in time to use it for those trips. I will use the bag and am glad to have it. I only wish it hadn’t broken right away and hope that’s not a sign of the overall quality.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for our son for business trips. He was adverse to using standard carry-on sizes, thought they were too large and tedious looking. He studied abroad in Norway for a year while in college, and when traveling around Scandinavia he used a minimalistic Timbuk2 bag/backpack that was great. Since he's now traveling for work, wanted to upgrade to a more professional looking bag, with spinner wheels, so asked my cousin (who travels constantly for work) and she recommended Travelpro. This is an extremely well made bag, very sharp looking, with plenty of room for a 4 to 5 day business trip, and will be perfect for traveling overseas. And the shape and size is edgy enough for our software engineer son. Now to replace our own luggage with all Travelpro Platinum Elite pieces.

I am definitely a BIG FAN of this brand, the quality is unmatched. The wheels roll smoothly and quietly as if it's floating, it's light but sturdy, classy and functional, and very well designed. It's well worth the price, especially with the 10 year warranty.

Previous Samsonite spinner I'd been very happy with for 7-8 years died a front zipper fail death so thought i'd look for something modern and more tailored to what I was carrying. TravelPro zippers seem very sturdy compared to my old spinner. The TravelPro has so many useful little extra features that tie together into a great package to keep your stuff neat going into and out of different transport. Just back from 3 weeks in Japan where in one day we changed transport types 6 times and between all these was often a longish walk. The self forward aligning wheels are much easier to get through train gates when your pulling another main case as you can just push it forward ahead of you while finding tickets and RFID passes etc to open the gate. The little gadget mesh holders that tension down to compress what's below them works well and the clear plastic zip out whilst ostensibly for toiletries / wet pack made a great 'pills case' for medications etc. The wheels traversed the visually impaired ripple strips all over the stations with ease and it handled well in 2 wheel pull mode when doing a fast transfer. Improvements I could suggest for the next generation would be: 1. The wheels on the front edge sometimes magnetically 'stow' into their wheel wells which with a laptop in the front laptop storage did make the bag front heavy, it fell over that way a couple of times. Reassess center of gravity 2. Add either a padded removable sleeve or some more padding to the front of the laptop bay.

this is the best carryon I have ever owned. It is the perfect size, it is well designed for easy packing, the outside computer and utility pockets are super handy. I use the side pocket for my passport and phone when I am moving through airports. Nice work Travelpro.

I wanted a carryon that’s would be acceptable for international flights. I like the zippered pouch for liquids/creams that can be readily accessed through security. I especially like the ease of the spinner wheels.
