Can it cut a tree

First, understand I am somewhat crippled from nine back surgeries and was actually paralyzed from the waist down for six years. I have to keep pushing myself or I find myself slipping backwards. I both bass fish and catfish on the river. It takes a tough man to consider fishing where I do so I have a self trained medical assist dog and one of these swords. I use it sheathed for a cane and I cut and hack trees, poison ivy, briars, be very careful cutting briars with a sword, and anything else that gets in my way including the occasional beaver or other wild animals that are pissed the dog and I are intruding in their territory. These swords will cut or hack down a tree the size of an average human leg but they will bend if not struck correctly. I've been living the country life so long I just stick it in the ground to the point of the bend and straighten them back until I get home and can heat treat them after making sure they are straight. I've welded the cheapo's back together so many times you wouldn't believe it. 
So to answer your question.
Yes, they can but keep your sword sharp and the sharp side pointed away from you. 
Also, make damn sure your hands aren't wet and you have a firm grasp on your sword.  
I've lost more than one of them by it coming out of my hand and landing out in a raging river.

This sword easily cuts THICK plastic orange juice bottles. I’ve had so clean cuts and a lot of fun! This is a nice sword for the money. For real.
