Aquarium Air Pump Mini USB Fish Tank Oxygen Air Pump 1W

I bought this pump for an unusual application. I needed a small pump to use in a bubbler type level sensor in one of the tanks on my boat. Since the performance specs I was concerned about were not what aquarium hobbiest cares about so I bought the pump because it was cheap enough that if the pump didnt work for my application it would be no big deal. I works great. I tested it ability to quickly empty a 1/4 tube to a depth of 34 inches. The tube was left open to atmospheric pressure so it would fill with water. Within a second of attaching the pump to the tube there were bubbles coming out the bottom of the tube. The power consumption I measured was less that the 1 watt in the product description and the power consumption did not seem to vary with depth. This little pump is so quite that I had to hold it up to my ear to make sure it was working when I first connected to power.

Runs silent and moves a lot of air. First one purchased only lasted a few months and quit. USB a connector is the culprit. Bought another and am pleased with operation.

Had the air pump running constantly for a few months and it randomly stopped working. Very bad quality product that is not built to last. Not worth the money.

I've had it running in a small nano tank for a sponge filter for over a year now without any issues. Barely any noise as long as it's on a rag that help with the vibrations. It's been running near constantly this entire time. I do not have a single bad thing to say about this. Just bought a 2nd one after year and I don't know when I'll even need to use it as the first one is going strong still.

I bought 2 of these and both of them only lasted around 2½ months each. While they were working, they were pretty quiet and they worked fairly well, but they just don't last a very long time. If they were more expensive I'd be more upset, but they're super cheap so I can't really give him less than four stars. I wouldn't use these as a permanent solution though.

This product has proven invaluable for my Fluval breeding box. I don’t know what magic wizardry is behind this pump but wow — AH-MAZING!! I wanted a small, quiet pump to run my sponge filter and an air stone. I tried a powerful well-rated dual-outlet pump and it was ridiculously loud and clunky. Then I tried 3 more mini/small pumps. The one from Pawfly (which I bifurcated) was so weak, and could only run the filter. Then I tried another mini pump that had higher wattage and bifurcated it — it was SO LOUD and vibrated so much that it seemed like I could feel the vibrations on my floor! I placed it inside my aquarium cabinet (which I’ve never had to do) and tried wrapping it in several pieces of foam, a towel, put a pillow in front of it, tighten some zip ties around the pump housing itself. Nope, still unbelievably loud. To rule out that I just received a defective unit, I bought the same one again — nope, same problems. Then I bought this one and it just blows me away!! It’s lower wattage than anything else I’ve ever used, but far far far more powerful — and so quiet! I bifurcated it and am running the sponge filter and air stone — and I don’t even have it turned up half way. Honestly I bet I could run an additional air stone off of it if I wanted to. Additionally, my tubing is very long and the pump is sitting well below the tank. And this pump is *tiny*! I don’t get it…?! I will never buy any other pump.

It’s works! I only gave it 3 stars because it is louder than I expected. Not awfully loud, but loud enough that I can’t put it in my aquascape at work… I recognize that’s not the ideal location for it, but it’s loud enough that I can hear it from about 20 feet away. If you don’t mind the sound, it checks all the other boxes. Easy to use, just plug it into a usb port. Decent quality, i thought it was going to be cheaper, but it works. True to its claim, it is definitely compact so you can easily set it up in a way that it won’t be an eyesore.

Some years ago we bought a small 60l fish tank for my daughter to have some pets. The issue was that the tank was too small and the water kept getting low in oxygen, so we got a bubble machine. We looked all over for a good recommendation and ended up getting one that worked brilliantly. The only problem: It sounded like someone was trying to use a jackhammer behind the fishtank. It had these four little rubber conical feet which were supposed to insulate it, and dampen the vibration, but they didn't. And the plastic hose was curled up, which put a twisting force onto the pump, and it'd vibrate itself horizontal and then it was jackhammer time as the wooden shelf vibrated too. We put up with it for a year, but one night I went into her room and she was wide awake with that thing hammering away in the background. Happy fish - unhappy daughter. It was time for a change. So, I hit up Amazon. I have to admit, I wasn't very choosy. I just scrolled until I saw a review that said "quiet" and hit "buy it now". A day later, I'd ripped out old thumpy, and popped this one on. Oh my, what a difference. This one puts out less bubbles, but it's MORE than adequate for a 60l tank! With the little diffuser you get, it makes a lovely curtain of bubbles at the back of the tank. But the best thing is that it's /silent/. If you put your ear close, you can hear it buzzing away, but from more than a few feet, the bubbles make more noise than the pump! It was so good, I instantly bought a second one for my little boy's fishtank which didn't have a bubble machine, largely because I was so fed up with the bzzzzzz coming through the floor from my daughter's room above ours, at night. Wonderful little things. They've been in now for about 4 months and they're both working brilliantly. I would say that for anyone that's had one burn out, it's been because you've bent the tube and put a kink in it. That'll make the pump heat up and burn out! I cut the hose a little shorter so it wouldn't kink. If there was one thing I'd add, it'd be a sucker with a hook to hang it off the back of the fishtank. Otherwise.. perfection.

Lo dico subito senza mezzi termini, lo avevo comprato solo perché mi sembrava piccolo e facile da collocare dietro la vasca, ma appena l'ho ricevuto e provato sono rimasto stupito non solo dalle dimensioni irrisorie ma dalla silenziosità che penso sia il principale punto di forza di questo ereatore. Una volta acceso non si sente, non è che si senta poco, proprio non si sente, una volta montato in vasca sentirete solo il rumore delle bollicine. Gli appassionati di acquariologia sanno di cosa parlo, in genere gli areatori, anche quelli silenziati, sono un incubo. È abbastanza potente, nel mio caso forse anche troppo (acquario da 80 litri). Non comprendo la scelta di non inserire l'alimentatore nella confezione, dovrete procurarvi quindi un alimentatore, magari recuperando qualche vecchio caricabatterie di cellulare.
