Kamasa LASSS4849 Socket Set 1/2" D 42pc

I had this socket set for over 30 years and it served me well, but leaving UK for a while I let the set go. Now I buy exactly the same set again, but the finish is much better than the original set. Otherwise it is identical to my previous set which I maintained many classic cars for over 30 years.

the sockets don't go small enough

My original much-used and much-loved Kamasa socket set was stolen from my car and this is the modern equivalent. It's excellent value for money. For your money you get:13 x Metric Sockets (10mm up to 22mm), 14 x AF Sockets (3/8", 7/16", 9/16",19/32", 5/8", 11/16",3/4", 25/32", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16", 1", 1 1/16"), 8 x Whitworth Sockets (3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" - essential if you've got an older vehicle and don't want to bodge it with an "almost fits" metric socket). Spark Plug Socket 14mm (21mm Euro), 2 different length extension bars, a sliding T-bar, ratchet handle and speed-brace. Too many socket sets don't include a speed brace, but I've always found this an essential item.

This set is absolutely brilliant and of course it’s Kamasa who make great quality tools, I’ve had the same set as this for over 40 years and never had a single problem I’ve bought this for our son in law whose just a new job as a maintenance fitter, it will serve him well. Strongly recommend.

Good fast delivery. A very useful set for the money but a bit disappointed with sloppy fit of the sockets. Also many of the sockets not 'shouldered'to reduce weight and increase access.

I have finally used these and they are very good. Absolutely what I needed.

This socket set covers all my needs to do the odd jobs on my caravan and tow vehicle.Good quality tools for the price though the plastic case is a bit on the cheap side.Still very good value for what you get.
