Wood Flooring Strap Clamp, 13 ft

I used this clamp to install a solid hardwood floor. Worked great for coaxing some stubborn joints to close up on five inch maple planks. Had very good strength, even when extended over eight feet. Really simplified the flooring installation. Great clamp!

I'm a flooring installer of over 15 years. These are well made and a good design. The adjustable spacer end is very nice. The reason I shorted a star is the price. Even tho they work well they're still just a basic ratchet strap with flat ends instead of normal hooks.

This is the best of three types I purchased. The only con is the twist key is not removable without destructive method. My install is not standard, so it would not likely affect most.

These really helped keep my tongue and grove floor together while the glue dries. Easy to use and was able to make a longer strap for a 21' run down a hallway.

Einfach zu benutzen, wer das Prinzip Spanngurte versteht, kann damit gut umgehen. Die richtige Seite an der Wand mit der Klammer fixiert, richtige Länge einstellen und spannen, fertig und zusammengerückt. Hierfür 5 Punkte.Wieder einmal hat mir Amazon ein bereits benutztes und verschmutztes Teil geschickt. Wenn die Retoure geprüft worden wäre hätte man den versifften Spanngurt und das verkratzte Metallteil gesehen. Dem Benutzer, der das Teil benutzt und dann zurückgeschickt hat wünsche ich eine ordentliche Stolperfalle in seinem Laminatfußboden. Beim nächsten Mal zumindest den Gurt wieder richtig einziehen vor der Rücksendung.Der Amazon-Retourenabteilung empfehle ich Fiel*ann. Da ich das Teil brauche und mir der Austausch zu blöd ist behalte ich den Gurt.

Ich habe in meinem Dachbodenausbau die ersten Quadratmeter Dielenboden ohne diese Hilf verlegt. Ergebnis waren teilweise große Spalte und Lücken zwischen den Bohlen.Holz ist ein Naturprodukt und demnach ist hier mit schiefen und verzogenen Bohlen zu rechnen.Die Arbeit mit der Bessey Verlegehilfe war dagegen ein Segen. Durch die Ratschenfunktion kann punktuell der notwendige Druck aufgebaut werden so das selbst krumme Bretter sauber verlegt werden können.Mein Tipp an alle DIY‘er:Bohle mittels Bessey Verlegehilfe zusammen spannen und dann mittels Opferholz und ein paar Hammerschlägen die letzte Fuge noch schließen.Das spart enorm Zeit und lässt das Ergebnis entsprechend hochwertig wirken.Einzig beim lösen des Gurtes muss entsprechend vorsichtig vorgegangen werden, da es je nach Spannung ganz schön „schnalzen“ kann

Installing a T&G floor (not laminate) in a log cabin, eighty eight to be precise. My normal partner in crime on projects, my wife can no longer assist due to illness and I have to accept I am getting on and suffer with arthritis of the hands so needed help and bought these straps after reading reviews and watching you-tube reviews. Very easy to use and with three straps I can install four boards at once. Looked at cheaper ones, but the build quality on these is excellent and with further projects like a new kitchen and raising the floor level throughout the house in the pipeline thought it worth the extra. Be warned wear gloves and use a rubber mallet to aid seating, as when boards are under tension they snap into position and exposed skin will get trapped if you slap the boards with a bare hand, I know from experience, swearing did help.
