Sturdy, strong, does the job!
Bought this for my USD Aeon's that didn't come with a 45 degree strap. They bolted right on without any issue and are super tight and hold my ankle in place perfect. They seem pretty durable so I don't think wear will be an issue and if it is I'm probably doing something wrong 😅. Would recommend.

Plastic didn't hold (update.....operator error)
Please disregard my previous review. Installer error. My apologies to this company, I installed the clamp backwards. Having recognized my mistake, and rotated the buckle 180 deg, the straps work perfectly. This strap did exactly what it needed to do. My skate is whole and I would definitely recommend this product!

Work great, installing them was a pain in the A
Honestly, after I figured out how to remove the old broken one and get this one in - it was super easy and a very intuitive process. I HAD TO BUY A DRILL cause I didn’t have one to remove the old ones (purchase I was not expecting to to do since I rent and don’t drill holes lol).Long story short - if you have a drill get them

User error, install backwards now it clicks the way it should.

Just Don’t Buy My Friend
It’s been 20 years since you wore those rollerblades. They still fit but the plastic straps have heat cycled in your parent’s garage for decades and are so brittle they crumble at the gentlest of touches. You Amazon it and find these bad boys. You order. You review the instructions and drill out the old straps. These install like a dream and all of the hardware lines up. Perfection.Your kids are excited to see your skating prowess. Your wife warns you she will laugh when you fall. You strap in. You are Iron Man. Then you position yourself to stand up and you hear the teeth ratchet smoothly out of the clips. You check the groove, you look at the clamp. Zero chance this would ever hold - just too shallow. You realize your old rollerblades without shin support are now more of an imminent threat to your tailbone that you are willing to risk. The kids are disappointed. Your athletic AND handyman skills are questioned. No more Iron Man.Your wife wants to see a fall. America’s Funniest Home Video is already passively running on the Ring doorbell. She points out the large zip ties on your tool bench and you get to work. Daisy chained zip ties worth $0.58 keep the rollerblades tight against your calves. The dream lives. Hero status returns as you roll out of the garage. You feel good. So what you need wire cutters to take off your skates each time? Helpful reminder every outing to write your second-ever Amazon review.Just don’t even waste your time on these. Buy a massive pack of zip ties and some good wire cutters. More useful than you think.

not what is pictured (but works well)
There are two parts, a long strap, and a short clamp that the strap clicks into. The parts appear to be good quality, however there is an issue:The short clamp seems to be designed backwards, the screw hole is on the wrong side. The worry is that Leverage could tear the screw out of the boot leather...The short clamp is also different than pictured. What is pictured for this listing actually has the screw on the correct side, appears to be a good design. So I wasn’t sent the right parts!!UPDATE: I installed these anyway, and it seems to be rigid and working quite well. Changing my score from 1 star to 5 stars. The product isn’t as pictured but it works really well and is just fine! I installed through the existing metal shoelace grommets, no need to drill holes in the shoe leather.

Solid replacements and easy as can be to install
Easy to install. I got my kiddo back up and running in less than 10 minutes. These work on her Nike skates and also fit my corr agressive inline skates, they were a very tight squeeze on my son's bladerunner performa's so you would have to do some trimming. Hopefully the other pair I ordered my my skates will be just as good of quality

Hit or miss
This was supposed to be a repair replacement for daughters skates,However only one strap held on while other strap repeatedly got loose after skating for 10 minutes. Overall would not buy again
