Update on ActiveEyes after taking it for months.
June 14, 2020I have been taking ActiveEyes twice a day for months with no side effects until recently. I have not changed my diet but I'm getting very nauseated from the Zinc mg, I assume. A couple of weeks ago, I began to burp and it did not feel normal, I also had an upset stomach so, I quit taking ActiveEyes. Then I resumed recently and today, I actually got so nauseated it was scary and then I threw up. I had my regular breakfast of oatmeal and toast! I took ActiveEyes Brand all winter twice a day with meals and everything was fine until recently. I wonder if Zinc builds up in your system?I wish ActiveEyes would lower the Zinc from 80mg a day (40mg twice a day) to 25mg. Research shows that 25mg (50mg) a day is fine. Now I have a tiny stockpile of ActiveEyes I'm afraid to take. Getting nauseated and throwing up is not what anyone wants to do.I read another company lowered the Zinc to 25mg without affecting the protective benefits of this supplement.Original post.I followed the directions and made sure to take this with meals. So far so good, no nausea that many people are having. But I am having burps, something which I really never experienced much until now. In addition, I got mouth ulcers after taking this for a week. I have no way to know if this product caused it or if it's a coincidence, so I won't blame it for now. If I keep getting them, then that's a different story.I hope this Brand works, it's more affordable than Bausch and Lomb's version. My eye doctor wants me to take Areds 2 for the rest of my life because I have the beginnings of macular degeneration in one eye. So, affordability is a must. It's not like these ingredients are rare so, I don't see why B&L have to make them so expensive. My macular is early but I have read that Areds 2 is beneficial for some people by keeping it from getting out of hand and ruining people's eyesight. I hope that's true.So for now, it's an affordable Brand which seems to be from a quality company.

Dr. ordered!
My husband has the onset of macular degeneration, and his doctor recommended he start taking these eye vitamins. I guess we'll never know if or how well they really work, as there will never be a comarison available to us, but for the price, it's worth giving them a try. They were highly rated and a good deal for the money compared to other brands I looked at. They're easy to swallow and leave no taste in your mouth. As long as the doctor says they're proven to work, than we'll continue to use them. I just add them to my Amazon order every month so I don't have to worry about picking them up at the pharmacy.

I guess the experts are wrong!
My wife and I have been using Active Eyes for almost a year. According to the media there is no evidence that the contents of the product will help your vision. Well, then my wife and I must be unusual cases, since we have seen amazing results with this and similar products (when we couldn't get Active Eyes). My wife has been unable to see to drive at night without glasses since she had lens replacement surgery three years ago. After using zeaxanthin and lutein (two of the main ingredients in Active Eyes) for the last year, she no longer needs glasses to drive at night. I have a growing cataract in one eye and using Active Eyes, the growth has slowed almost to a stop. My ophthalmologist was amazed when I told her it must be the supplements. She said she had never seen anything like it. My next appointment is 2020; this after one every two months.

Great results!
My husband takes these for his macular degeneration; he also had cataracts. He had cataract surgery in his left eye for which he had 20/150 vision prior to the procedure. The doctors did not give us much hope that any of his vision would ever be restored. He took these vitamins for six months prior to his cataract surgery, and now he has 20/30 vision in that eye. Coincidence? I don't know, but it seems like the vitamins helped restore his vision.Additionally, they are easy to swallow and a great price.. Sounds like a win/win to me!

Huge capsules!
I have the beginning of dry macular degeneration so it was suggested that I take eye vitamins. I have issues swallowing pills so after looking at the pictures, I decided that these would be fine. Wow! I was wrong! These capsules are huge!I know I need to take these so I drink a copious amount of high pulp OJ to get them down.Otherwise, I hope these work to stop the progression of this disease.

Eye Boosts
I really don't know what to say, since I have not taken these vitamins long enough. I stared them about 3 weeks ago for the first time ever taking any vitamins in my life and I am 68 years old. I use my eyes as I am an artist, painter, and work outside for a good part of my career. I am hoping they keep my sight healthy and without future problems.

Eyes
None of those apply as I am on a feeding tube. I have many eye problems from radiation. I canโt really say itโs helping, but certainly not hurting me. I have retina edima. Hoping it helps that.

Eye Vitamins
They don't have a flavor but are easy to swallow. I guess they are working but we've only been using them a bit less than a month. Only time will tell.
