After trying multiple apps to try and mimic Apple Car Play I decided to purchase the Spedal CL871. For me, this works much better than using a phone mount. I had some questions about getting an optional adaptor to connect to USB. The company was responsive and able to ship this accessory to me. Connection with cell phone is straight forward. Much easier to use with my riding gloves.

This has been a game changer!!! I daily ride, and enjoy having my music/navi/phone accessible without having my phone subject to the elements. It is very well built, I love the aluminum mount! Super easy to install as long as you have slight knowledge on your bikes wiring (check YouTube if you need!) the screen has never not been bright enough! And the screen size seems to be perfect! Just a tad smaller than my phone. It’s super easy to change the boot logo too!! This was bought right before a 2,000 mile round trip. IT HAD NOT A SINGLE ISSUE the entire time! It’s been left out in the 100 degree days in the beating sun. Down to the teens while riding at night! It’s even gotten soaked in a few heavy rain showers! Best one I found at this price with the research I did, and will be buying another one for the next bike!

Syncs up good with android and display is semi-fast, very good speed. And the mounting hardware is very good!! The mounting hardware is the main reason I bought it. Ride dual sport and need a strong mount and this is it. Loctite everything though - everything - and its good to go! To mount I drilled hole through ball mount and secured directly to bar clamp.

Great little unit for the price. Have it mounted to the handle bars on my 2025 Tenere 700. Has worked perfectly with android auto on my phone and running Google maps as well as gaia. Perfor.ed well in the rain too. Only issue, and the reason for 4 stars, is that the unit could be brighter. In the bright sun it is a little hard to see.

2021 Yamaha Tenere 700 - Perfect Fit and Custom Start Screen My biggest problem with these screens are the mounting options. At the end of the day all of these screens are pretty much exactly the same but the mounts vary drastically. This one is great since the mating service from the screen to the mount is metal. I paired it with the 12mm (xitomer GPS Mount GPS Bracket). I took the mount from the xitomer and used the holes to drill/tap m4 holes to the screen plate. Now have a flush and OEM looking install which is exactly what i wanted. Install is 1 wire, I connected it to the 2-pin pigtail on the right side of the bike (acc/hot on the same terminal). It turns on/off with the key. Creating a custom start screen is easy. You need a SD Card and the images in a folder called "Logo" exactly like that with a capital L. Dimensions of the images need to be 1560x720, JPG, and under 300kb. I tested a few photos but the colors didn't look right so I just used the tenere logo. Start up time is quick and takes 6-7 seconds to complete the carplay connection to my phone. Which I am happy with. If the Manufacturer ever reads this, please reach out if you would be open to collaborating on a mounting solution as well as software customization. If this thing explodes in the future I'll update my review

I have constant issues with the connection. Device will lose the Android Auto connection and reconnect multiple times for no reason and eventually when riding will just refuse to connect at all. I use Bluetooth with a Pixel 9 pro fold. Other than that issue rendering the device basically useless for me it has a nice screen, touchscreen is accurate, bright in the daylight, responsiveness is okay, not as smooth as a phone but enough. If only that connection issue was resolved I'd give this a sold 4 to 5 stars. (I am on the newest firmware of the device)

Mounted on a 2025 Multistrada V4S using Xitomer GPS mount. The four holes all line up using 3mm bolts. Ordered a set in black in assorted sizes. This way I didn't have to mount it to the handlebars. It sits right up above my OEM display tucked in behind the windscreen. I also ordered a 5A USB pigtail to wire it up directly to my USB outlet (would be nice if they would have included one). Turns on and off with the bike and didn't have to run a bunch of wires. I simply attached the red and yellow wires together to the red wire on the pigtail and then the unit's ground wire to the pigtail's black (ground) wire. The unit fired right up when I turned the bike on. Connected easily to my iPhone and I was in business. Went through four of these units before I finally found one that I could mount the way I wanted. Amazon could alleviate a lot of returns if they would simply instruct their sellers to include a clear picture of the back of the unit. I was hoping the holes would line up on the Xitomer Garmin style four hole mount and they did. Will update this review as needed.

Pros The setup for this unit is incredibly straightforward; with just a baseline level of "DIY" knowledge, anyone can get this up and running in no time. The connectivity is seamless, and the screen brightness is impressive, remaining clear even in direct light. Price-wise, it’s very competitive. When you consider the cost of a high-end mount, vibration dampener, and case, this unit offers much better value while keeping your phone safely tucked away from the elements and engine vibration. ​Cons The only area that needs improvement is the mounting hardware. Specifically, the screw connecting the mounting arm to the backplate can vibrate loose during a ride. I had a close call where the screw backed out significantly, which could have been a safety hazard if it had fallen into the wheel assembly. ​ To make this unit perfect and "set-and-forget," I highly recommend applying a small amount of blue Loctite to that specific screw (circled in the photo) during installation. Once that’s secured, the unit is rock solid!

Rien dans le produit ne fait "cheap", l'écran est lumineux, la fixation plus que solide, le plastique de bonne qualité. Premiers contacts plaisants. La configuration s'est faite en moins de temps qu'il ne faut pour l'écrire, le système était en version 2025/04/11, donc pas d'il y a des lustres, la mise à jour a pris quelques minutes, RAS. EN GROSSE SURPRISE positive, ma version était fournie avec un cable USB marquée "Power"... du coup specs techniques au dos et là 5V 1.2A.... vérif immédiate avec un chargeur de mobile OK, puis sur la prise UBS de série sur ma moto, tout fonctionne. Pas besoin de passer des heures à trouver comment le connecter et surtout cohérent avec la fonction "quick release" :) Seul "point noir", mais à ce prix là et compte tenu de mon utilisation aucune application native pour lire la musique ou GPS par exemple tout passe par le tél. bon j'ai aussi lu que personne n'utilise les app natives de toutes façons ;) Partage via Android Auto - écran largement suffisant pour être lu sans gêner la visibilité ni demander de réelle upgrade dans la configuration (se fixe direct sur le guidon sans gêner et reste dans le champ de vision) EDIT - 25/9/25 - depuis que je l'ai impossible d'avoir une connection android auto fonctionnelle via mon intercom ( ce qui est tout l'intérêt: soit il ne reconnaît pas les commandes, soit il lance maps sur le mobile (le plan étant de le laisser dans mon sac à dos, aucun intérêt) de même que les applis de comm, i.e. téléphoner via ligne mobile ou via Whatsapp. Du coup c'est retour chez amazon. dommage, le systeme de fixation et la prise USB était vraiment parfaits.

Einfache Montage und installation. Plus Minus an die Batterie und eins an die Zündung. Einrichtung Simpel. Sprache ausgewählt und Handy via Bluetooth verbunden. Passt. Von Ausgeschaltet bis Verbunden unter 15s. Schneller als mein altes TomTom Ding ;) Kann ich empfehlen für Leute die ihr Smartphone nicht vorne am Lenker haben wollen und einfach das Handy am "Navi" gespiegelt haben wollen. Super teil.

Fantastische CarPlay navigatie. Goede responsieve touchscreen perfect te bedienen met handschoenen, een mooi scherp en heel helder display ( is ook niet vanzelfsprekend bij vele Ali navigatieszelfs in volle zon (dat zie je niet vaak en ik heb er meerde getest), koppelt snel en reageert ook snel. Al met al super tevreden over de Spedal. Ik geef alleen 4 sterren en geen 5 sterren omdat de navigatie vast gemonteerd wordt op de motor en omdat het geen accu heeft.

Works as intended for all the CarPlay functions without using my phone on my bike. I spliced the red /yellow cable together and soldered both those cables including the black ground wire to a usb cable to easily power it with my usb port on my bike
