Better for guitars with all six tuning pegs on the same side.
Funny how many people commented on how SMALL this thing is. Through seeing pictures of it, I knew it'd be small, but was still surprised at how tiny it really is. That said, size doesn't matter at all here, and the smaller/less obstrusive the better. The image photo makes it look like it'll be two or three inches across, when it's really an inch at best. Again, it works nicely, so not a problem.Unless....I have one guitar, an Epiphone acoustic; as with most acoustics, I've three tuning pegs on either side of the headstock. Placing the Wedgie holder in the middle (between the D and G strings), it moves around, staying stock still only when rested/placed against the nut--not the best for staying out of the way for first-fret notes. I've tried it between other strings (both from the same side), and it works better this way, but it's not centered. This isn't a huge deal, but I hang my guitar on the wall, and it gets in the way of the wall mount's arms when not centered. In fact, when it is centered, but not wedged against the nut, the held pics also get in the way of the arms.It does what it was designed to do very nicely, but it seems that it's really designed for guitars with all six strings' tuning pegs on the same side of the headstock, as on many electrics. I like that I can have two different-weight picks at my disposal at a quick reach, so I'll continue to use it, but it's just a bit fiddly on my acoustic. I've no worries that it'll fall off or anything, however.Great product, just bear in mind how it was designed. No other problems at all with it. Simple, effective, inexpensive, unobtrusive, and it doesn't affect tone or tuning at all. I give it 4 only because it's not 100% perfect for my application.

Never wanted a Wedgie til I bought these!
These things are so cool. I saw them on YouTube and decided to buy a few. I got 2 for me and 1 for my daughter. The name made her giggle so that was a plus from the beginning lol. They easily slide onto your strings and stay out of the way. Just simply place your picks into it and voila! 2 picks on the ready! Easy to remove and don't damage your finish at all. The company even sent me a little thank you note for supporting their growing company which I though was a nice touch. Worth the $ if you drop picks alot or just want the peace of mind of having a back up or 2 right there when you do need them!

Great idea, but not for every guitar
I bought it because i liked the idea not having an adhesive or a clip involved. My main guitar is a PRS and it put it centered between the 3rd and 4th string. But it just doesn't sit tight at all and moves around. I tried it between 5th and 6th, it sits a bit better but now one pick sticks out is in the way when you play around the first fret.My thoughts are: great idea, lightweight but should be tighter around the slots.

It's a wedgie
Not too much to say, it's made out of foam, made to slip between the strings, made to hold two picks. I have several of these, for acoustics and for electrics. My son lost one before during a performance on stage so it is not that secure that it won't be dislodged, still, it does stay on majority of the time. I do recommend this. My son's guitar teacher calls this a "fancy little pick holder" and I've had people ask where to buy one when they see it for the first time. One must also be careful, my son lost one of these so I know it is a possibility of it falling off. He lost it after performing in a play on stage. Please click YES if my review have been helpful to you, it will encourage me to continue writing and updating my reviews, and leave a comment if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer if I can be of help.

great for my lap steel guitar!
I bought one of these to try on my Asher Junior lap steel guitar to hold two finger picks and a thumb pick. Worked, but it was difficult getting all three picks in one Wedgie so I ordered a second one. Between the two of them, between the 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th strings up next to the nut, works pretty good holding these types of picks (which admittedly, the Wedgie was not actually designed for). Liked it so much I ordered two more for my acoustic and electric guitar and one for my bass (the bass version). Only down side I see is -- they DO seem loose like they could fall out AND I doubt the picks will stay in place when I case my guitar (haven't tried it yet). But otherwise, worth the price and a good doo-dad to have around. Especially if you have a lap steel and need a place to stick your finger picks on the guitar itself (real help to me staying organized!).

Perfect for 3 different people with 3 different reasons
I originally bought this as a stocking stuffer for my boyfriend. His guitar sits in our living room area and looks great, but there are never picks around when you want to pick up the guitar, strum a minute or two and set it back down. We don't like storing the picks directly in the strings either. So this was perfect! It's tiny, sets in the head of the guitar, you hardly notice it's on there and is unobtrusive as you play.Second one I bought was for my son (teen) who plays a lot and has a ton of awesome picks. I thought it would be a good display of a few of those. And yep, it is!Third one I bought was for my daughter (adult) who loses picks left and right. This keeps at least one (if not two) handy. At a couple of bucks... grab one for each guitar player you know.

Great Little Guitar Gadget
I had never seen this "wedgie" style of pick holder and have always stored picks under the strings like most players. I keep all kinds of holders full of picks in handy locations, but this little gadget takes up no real space on my guitar, and it holds two picks handily. I like the one I bought, but for just a little more you can get a four pack of an almost identical product. I haven't bought the latter yet, but I will be ordering some so I can outfit all of my guitars and also give away some to friends as gifts.
