Great & clean
Love these! Great ingredients. Very satisfying. Protein bars are often a trigger food for me … these taste good but not so much I can’t control myself. One and definitely done. Can be a touch greasy if left out in higher temperatures. Love these & thrilled I can get on Amazon - usually out of stock at my local Sprouts.

Surprisingly Satisfying and Clean Ingredients
I’ve been trying to clean up my diet and reduce seed oils and processed junk, so these PRIMA ANCESTRAL PROTEIN BARS really caught my eye. The ingredients are impressively simple—grass-fed beef tallow, raw honey, and no seed oils or gluten. That alone sets them apart from most protein bars on the market. The variety pack is a great way to try different flavors, and I appreciated the natural, savory-sweet balance. These aren’t your typical sugary protein bars—they taste more like real food, which I actually enjoyed. The texture is a little dense, but that’s to be expected with whole food bars.My only knock is the price—it’s a bit on the higher end, and not everyone will love the slightly gamey flavor from the beef tallow. But if you’re focused on clean eating, keto, or carnivore diets, these are a solid option. They also kept me full for hours, which is a big plus.Overall, very happy with the purchase. Would give it 5 stars if the flavor appeal was a bit more universal and the price was a little lower.

Great taste and texture but beware
Hate to only give three bars stars as these bars are so great for a low sugar high protein diet and the flavor and texture is really nice. Two very important things to note about the bars and the reason for three stars.1. The bars do get very greasy and can leek so if you toss one in your purse or bag beware. I suggest putting the bars in a little zip lock if you plan on packing one for the day.2.Very, very important!!!!!!! All flavors are great but I enjoy the cocoa most. The cocoa flavor does have small bits of cocoa shell and those bits will absolutely break or chip a tooth if you bite down the wrong way. Every cocoa bar I have tried has at least one of these very hard shells in them, so chew gingerly to insure you don’t chomp down on a hard shell piece.* this has not deterred me from purchasing as I really do enjoy these bars, just be careful.

would not buy again for the Price they charge!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product because of the reviewsProtein content:the downsize to this is that there's only 16 grams of proteins Ingredients:The main reason that I purchased these bars is because of the flavors offered and there's NO Seed oil, No GMO, and its made with Beef tallow, Honey and its low carb.Dryness:definitely not a dry bar with the Beef Tallow and Honey, unfortunately to me its a little too oilyQuality:I gave these bars a 2 because they are extremely oily and leaks from the packaging, they don't have the chalkiness that some bars do, but they definitely have an unusual smell to them. Texture:had no issue with the texture.Taste:I was disappointed in the taste in the two flavors that I have tried so far, which were the Cacao and the salted Caramel, there was hardly any flavor to them.

THE BEST protein bar!!
I typically don't rate products, but this one is excellent!!It tastes amazing, doesn't make me feel gross afterwards. Perfect for folks with nut allergies!Thank you for the no seed oils!! The texture is a little mushy because of the tallow but I definitely got used to it, and doesn't affect the taste. Please give them a try for yourself ;)

More Please!
Finally! I am so careful with everything I eat and I am happy to say that I love every ingredient in these bars. I got the Cacao flavor and it’s delicious. I could see how some people think it is a little dry but that did not bother me. The reason other bars taste so good is because they have sketchy ingredients. I liked the texture and the taste. I feel good after eating them and I’m super excited to have a healthy and to take on the go.

Out of all the bars I’ve tried, the salted caramel is the best, hands down!
I’ve tried every clean protein bar on the market. I’ve made my own protein bars as well, which I tend to do more often because I can control how much Equip Prime Protein I use in the recipe…BUT, when I want to travel and have something easy to throw in my bag, I chose Prima out of all of the others! The salted caramel has an excellent taste and texture. It’s even better when you put it in the fridge. Some people complain that the bars are oily, this is the oils in the product. They are high quality and beneficial to the body, but if you don’t like to, use a paper towel to wipe it down. They do have a little less protein than the Jacob bar, but the taste is better, IMO. I’m on auto-ship now and am so happy to have a cleaner, better quality protein bar around!

Fair at Best
Meh. I gave 3 stars because the ingredients are first class, and 16 grams of protein for a bar is pretty darned good. But for me, that’s where it begins and ends. I purchased the Variety pack. None of the flavors, Cacao, Mocha, or Salted Caramel were anything to write home about. And all 3 were so oily/greasy when I opened their wrapper. You need to have a paper towel nearby to wipe your hands. I’m not sure if this is due to the beef tallow, but if so, they really need to cut it back. I wrapped the paper towel around the bar and pressed really hard to make the bar less greasy. None of the flavors are stellar, but also not chalky which often happens with protein bars. I also think these bars are pricey. I’ll stick to organic cottage cheese and some fruit, nuts or seeds until I find something better.
