Klein Tools 56034 LED Head Lamp, Rechargeable Spot Lamp and Flood Light Lamp for Hard Hats

Now that the winter months are closing in, I’ve realized I can’t rely on the sun to brighten things up in the mornings anymore. I’d been using a black diamond headlamp I had laying around on my hard hat, but the battery life was about as poor as its light output. So, I pulled the trigger on this one.A month later, it’s the first and only headlamp I recommend to anyone who asks. Charges in my truck off a MicroUSB cable pretty quick, takes a few weeks of using it for a few hours a day to fully drain it.Both the floodlight mode and the spotlight mode are stupid bright, to the point that I don’t even bother using the spotlight mode and just stick to the flood since it uses less battery.It’s sat on my hard hat through both rain and snow, no signs of water intrusion even with a cracked lens. Cracking the lens was my own fault, so I wouldn’t withhold a star for that. (Dropped it from a scissor lift 30ft up)The rubberized strap holds it in place around the brim well enough that I didn’t have to zip tie it down, which I’ve never not had to do before.10/10 will buy again

I spent a little more hoping this head lamp would last longer but after 2 years of use twice a week it holds a charge for no more than 3 hours. Pretty disappointing from a company I hold in such high regard.

I bought this headlamp to replace my Milwaukee AAA battery headlamp. So far it has worked very well. The battery seems to hold up and the brightness is what I need. The spotlight goes much further then I expected the the wide range mode is dimmer but bright enough for close up work. The auto off is a nice feature and the battery level indicator is helpful. It is nice to have a headlamp that doesn't die after a few hours of use. Although it came with a USB cord it did not have the outlet attachment.

As an engineer, I just bought this for a water tank inspection and parking garage inspection. I needed something bright and need to have my hands free. It worked great in a 32' high water tank such that I could see the tank roof framing quite well. Worked well looking at slab soffit cracks and spalls about 12' high. It lasted about 4 hours on bright use and 6 to 7 hours on the dim setting. The battery strength indicator is easy to read and accurate. Full recharge time about 6 hours. Easy to use and well made. Stays on the headband well and the headband does not move and slide around on your head.

Battery life is 8 hrs max on low setting. Less in high beam. I bought this one to replace the Identical model I’ve had for over a year, and broke it when I dropped it off a ladder. The old one still works, but only lasts about 6 hrs on low.

The hinge broke for the bracket and getting a replacement is not going well. But it's a pretty good light

Bought this headlamp to use along with the Klein hard hat. Battery is great so far, lasts through the day even with significant usage. The two different light patterns work well if you want an area light or a brighter spot light for distance. Do wish the lights built in clip for the hard hat locked in a bit better but have yet to have an issue with it coming off.

So not only does this thing hold a charge I love how I can adjust the angle so I can work. Like a lot of people I work with I usually leave my hard hat at work but great thing about this is the light comes off so I can take it with me when I go home. It's priced better than everything I seen at home depot and the fact that it's rechargeable is a plus. Great buy

I’ve one but it got washed so I tried to get a replacement go the helmet. But I’m no prepared to pay nearly as much for p+p than the item but the head lamp I had with the helmet was excellent

Have been using for a couple weeks in the parkade at work. Light is very bright and great for working in the dark, beats out my co workers headlamp easily. Love that its rechargable. Klein tools has quality products.

the battery last long time easy all day I use it for night time fishing and on the boat as well.I have purchased 3 of these worth the money.
