Hi I use this to heat the water in my hot tub so I don't have to use electricity and it works great.

Both the product and the customer service were substandard.I ordered two units for our houseboat. One didn't work; the other had been damaged either in construction or shipment and was bent.The manual was so brief as to be worthless. And there was no chimney with the unit.There was no technical support worthy of the name, either. Just constant email requests for more information by an intermediary. I never did hear from a technician.One big feature was supposed to be the unit's rust-free stainless steel cover (we live on the ocean). But they mismatched the SS cover and SS screws and the unit started rusting immediately.Frustrated, I bought an Eccotemp unit. Much better built, great manual and technical support. It cost more, but you get what you pay for.I am still waiting for my refund from the Mophorn company as of this writing.

We were a little hesitant to purchase this model due to some of the negative reviews, but it turned out that the positive reviews are actually a much more accurate description of the unit. It is definitely an 18L (not a 12L as someone complained) We have used tankless propane units here in Mexico at our beach house for 8 years and reasonably expect to replace the unit every 4 years due to rust and corrosion from the salt sea air. So we need a cheap workhorse that can handle our location and that we can let go of (when the time comes) with out too many tears. This unit is well constructed stainless steel and our plumber was impressed with the design and ease of installation. (It may well exceed our 4 yr mark) We especially appreciate the electronic temp gauge which showed an increase of 11 degrees Centigrade (once we turned the hot water on) in about 20 seconds. We turned it to the Winter setting so that I could have a hot shower without compromising water pressure. All in all, an excellent investment. I will post an update in a few months after having a chance to use the unit daily.

This tankless is awesome for how quickly it heats the water. I ran over 30 gallons through it on my RV and it did not even show any signs of the water getting cold. The price point on this product is excellent for this size of a water heater. It only requires 2 D size batteries to ignite. I had to turn the water flow up to high to get my RV pump to send enough pressure through it to ignite. The only cons are you have to use adapters to get the threads right. I used an iron pipe fitting adapter on the gas, then converted to a brass that has the grill size connection. On the water inputs I used brass adapters for FEX lines. On the cold input I had to remove the front cover to be able to hold the internal line with a wrench (the fitting was not far enough out of the case to grab). Be sure to hold all the internal lines when installing the adapters or you will take the risk of damaging the unit. Fired right up after turning on the power switch at the bottom of the cabinet, and starting the shower. You do need to run a gas fume exhaust duct. It is 4-1/4" so some adapting was necessary. Bought all parts from Lowes and Home Depot to adapt it. I would buy this one again.

I was extremely sceptical since the price was so low and because I wanted to install it in my home for everyday use and boy was I surprised. We have 5 adults and one baby in our home and we NEVER run out of hot water. The only time you use propane is when you turn the water on (please note that it does take a few minutes to heat up but well worth the wait). Also it works best at keeping the heat level accurate if you use the hose and shower head that is sent with it. I will be purchasing another one for my camper.

I purchased this unit for our tiny house, it arrived with broken part. I sent pictures and asked for a replacement. Seller said no, how about we send you parts to fix it. Because it was inexpensive I purchased another unit from same seller, ( it was January, needed the hot water). Unit came quickly, we installed, it worked for. Few days and then pipes burst with a freeze. There were poor install instructions, and no info on how to insulate or protect from freezing temps. Being an out door unit, this would be helpful.It’s now May, been trying to get a refund from seller or Amazon, for at least one unit. Both items were returned to seller- no refunds.

We bought this as a pool heater for our above ground pool. Once you get it installed, it works well, but there is no strong water pressure no matter how big the pump. My husband took awhile to get it installed and during that time, propane was leaking out because it wouldn't stay lit so it exploded flames several times and burned off my husband's eyebrows. There are NO instructions in English.
