Great little gadget which catches all the midge,s and makes sitting outside on a summers night a pleasure.

This is the best bug lamp I've bought by far. The light shade detaches for storage which makes it easier and less bulky to pack. I can vouch for it being waterproof and can also add sturdy to assets the manufacturer didn't mention. It fell out of a first floor bedroom window onto the drive and survived completely intact. I've had two full nights use out of the battery. My only very minor quibble is getting the dead bugs out is fiddly, but this lamp has that in common with every other one I've used. I unhesitatingly recommend this lamp and will be buying another to add to the two I already have.

bought this for camping in a tent and it is a great product. the fly catcher part works a treat and catches almost every insect, especially moths and those little black corn flies. there are three different light settings for the lantern part which are dim, bright and very bright, however I never really used the lantern function in the tent as I left the fly catcher on throughout the night which was bright enough to be able to see the zips at the door, however wasn't too bright to stop me sleeping. it was more like a dull night light that you would use in a childs bedroom, but purple in colour.charging the lantern is as easy as charging your phone, except you have a little rubber cover that needs to be opened first to access the charging port. there are small, dim indication lights to show charging (red light) and fully charged (blue/green light), which are behind the casing next to the charging port and can only be seen when plugged in and in the shade or a dark room, etc. im not too sure how long it took to fully charge s I received it already with charge in it and then when I went away, I plugged it in and went out for a few hours and by the time I got back, it was ready to use again.great product and does what it says on the tin, the only reason for the 4* is because of the cleaning process of the fly catcher. make sure you have a small cotton bud or similar to fit through the gaps to be able to loosenthe flies/moths as just running under the tap doesnt remove all.

I've brought a few different bug killers in the past and they've all broken within 6 months, this one has been the best one so far, hopefully it will outlast all the others.

Nice lamp but it has dodgy wiring, sometimes it will work but mostly it won’t only used it once. Very disappointing. I’m hoping the seller will get in touch to replace or refund

I bought this item before setting off on a month long camping trip. The UV bug zapper light failed after one week. Because I was away the return window closed so no replacement or refund. BE WARNED!!!

Small and light, holds charge well and keeps bugs away in camper, good light too.
