If you love Amano's art this is a great way to access it. Although some of the art is small, lots of it is good sized. There are lots of facts about the game's development and even things like concept maps for areas. If you love final fantasy games you will like this publication!

Tons of great art,character concepts, unused content and more!Even has the original design documents from back when FF7 was planned to be an n64 game!Sadly as expected, ff7 has way more extensive content than the other titles,FF9 actually has the most pages, but it covers less topics.FF8 comes in last with only about 60% of the length of the ff7 section.But regardless of your favorite PS1 you're sure to find lots of great content and beautiful artwork!This book is well worth the price, even at MSRP!(now if only amazon could not dent up EVERY hard cover book I order... this is the 3rd time..)

Whenever you look at book art and contemplate the amount of ink required to make it, that usually means high quality! I’m getting older so this was more of a nostalgia purchase. But it’s great to know this book will last for a long time.

It includes tons of nostalgia for the old ff fans out there including Galleries, facts, hero and story backround of each character from the golden era of ff series (ffvii, fviii, ffix). Its a must have collectible for every final fantasy fan out there and a 100% worth its price! U gettin nostalgia and game galleries in high quality pages for dirt cheap!

The storyboards for final fantasy 8 are so detailed in this book! You don't get to see this kind of thing anywhere else, so I'm glad I got the second volume. That's the reason why I buy the Ultimania Archive. It is a selective collection of developer materials to get an inside look at how they put the game together. Each book particularly highlights the unique planning changes occurring in the development of each installment. Some installments change development practices drastically, while others didn't change all that much.

This book is beautiful and i bought it as a gift for my husband who teally likes the FF games. It made a wonderful addition to his collection. He was thrilled and spent quite a bit of time looking over it. So Glad i found a good book to gift and even happier that so far there are 3 in the series so I have more to gift out lol. The pictures were beautiful and gave good descriptions. Mine arrived packaged well without any damage at all.
