Acedeck Battery Operated Alarm Clock for Bedroom Travel with Large Numbers

I originally bought this clock as a gift for my mom because she’s older and I wanted something simple and easy for her to see and use. But when it arrived, I liked it so much that I ended up ordering another one for myself! I love the large, easy-to-read display, and especially that the brightness is dimmable, so at night I can keep it low without having a bright light bothering me. The alarm works really well and actually helps me get out of bed to turn it off, although you can obviously keep the clock closer if you prefer. I also like having the option to use batteries or keep it plugged in. More than anything, having such a clear clock in my room has helped me wake up and be much more aware of the time. Simple, practical, and surprisingly useful. Definitely a great purchase!

This clock is just about perfect. The snooze button on the top is basically touch sensitive and make the quick shutoff of the beeping easy, and keeps me from disturbing my spouse every morning. The buttons on the back are also very good, and very well placed. I can reach over and easily find the button to update the alarm or even turn it off for weekend mornings without having to look. The one button daylight saving time adjustment is novel, though mostly unnecessary. The variable dimness is excellent, both in the three level settings and in the automatic brightness setting, and the numbers themselves are a perfect size and easy to read. Being usb powered and potentially battery powered means that I am never going to mis an alarm in the morning because our neighborhood has lost power (again).10/10, would buy again.

I purchased one of these alarm clocks and it was defective. I contacted the company and this is where they really deserve five stars. The associate (Emily) that I dealt with, is simply amazing! She sent me a replacement clock at no charge without having to send my old one back. Unfortunately I think my mail carrier put it in the wrong apartment box. I never received it. She sent me another one! This one finally arrived today. It’s a great clock! This Acedeck battery alarm clock is easy to set up, has large numbers so you can see it easily but can also dim it or shut the light function off if you want to. The beeping for the alarm clock can also be turned up and down. Every function works. It comes with a USB-Cable but not an AC adapter. Other than getting the first clock that did not work, I can assure you that their customer service is stellar and other companies should really take some lessons from them on how to take care of people. Thank you, Emily, for treating me right and going extra miles to make sure I get a clock that works!

It has automatic dimming (or manual) to various light levels, keeps good time, is easy to read, easy to set the time and the alarm time, and the most accessible button turns the alarm on and off so it's easy to do that in the dark. The snooze alarm it touch sensitive, all you have to do is touch the top of the clock, you don't have to press a button. Very happy with it...perfect for travel or home. AA batteries last at least weeks. The only downside is that it has so many control options with so many buttons (on the back) that setting them, if you are like me, involves looking at them in the light to find the correct button. It has a very large legible display, the size of the whole clock face. Fine clock.

I like this digital clock, it's easy to reset once you get the hang of it. Easy to see in the dark for sure, a little heavy with four AA batteries in it, but my favorite travel alarm. I also have a Picco travel alarm but my left ear does not hear the frequency on that clock, this Acedeck frequency and tone is audible to me and gets me up just fine. My only suggestion for improvement would be an on/off switch (such as the Picco has) so battery power could be saved without having to take the batteries out. which gets a bit tiresome. It has a power cord so if used in a bedroom/permanent setup, batteries are not necessary, when traveling I use batteries so I don't have to worry about a power outage and usually there is not a handy USB outlet, or I'm using them for other stuff, and that is what the power cord plugs into.

You may not be aware of this, but nightstand clocks with displays other than Red can keep you up at night. I have had a clock radio by my side of the bed for years. The digits were a bluish white light. I dimmed them down as low as I possibly could and still read them, and it still bothered me. I decided finally to ditch it and get a clock with a red digit display. And since I really never use the Clock radio Alarm anymore, I decided to just get a standard clock. Yes this has an alarm clock, but I generally use my phone so I can’t speak to the Alarm. but the clock itself is fantastic. What makes this nightstand clock so good is the following: it’s a fairly small clock with a big display. It’s very easy to read. One of the most amazing features this has is automatic dimming. You can manually set the brightness at any level. But the automatic dimming is amazing. When you have the lights on in the room, the clock lights up so you can see it if the lights are dim so is the display on the clock. When it’s pitch black and you wanna sleep it’s very dim but absolutely readable. It also can operate with four AA batteries or plug plugged in to a 5 V USB power supply. I am over the Moon with this purchase. It is so inexpensive, I can’t believe I waited so long to get it.

If you’re extremely bothered by bright lights in your room, this is a good clock to get to avoid that issue. I hate bright glowing lights, they make it harder for me to sleep. I was worried about finding a good clock with the perfect brightness after reading reviews on some clocks with most people saying the clocks were “a good level of dimness” but one guy on one review of a clock that I almost bought said “looks like a portal to hell at night, had to put tape over it”. Ultimately I landed on this one, the video provided shows it’s not going to be like you’re standing on the face of the sun in the room you want to be dark. Anyway, the auto-dim feature is great, it’s not too bright at all and the numbers are big enough to see without my glasses. It’s easy to read day and night. And it has a nice look to it. It’s not an eyesore on the nightstand. I opted to plug it in rather than use batteries. I got this because I no longer want my phone next to my bed. This is a great excuse to no longer need it there. Also love the red color because it’s best for your eyes in the dark. It is very self explanatory on how to set it up, all the features you need. Would definitely buy again.

The display on this alarm clock is excellent. The red digits are large, bright, and very easy to read, even from across the room. I also appreciate the dimming options, so the display can be adjusted without lighting up the entire bedroom at night. It’s compact, simple to operate, and can work without the need to stay plugged in. ***I use a USB block to keep it plugged in***

It’s perfect. I needed this to avoid looking at my phone in the middle of the night. The dimmer function also makes ensures it’s not too bright.

Thrilled with this purchase, especially the automatic dimming feature (if you use it) which senses the light in the room and dims accordingly. Easy display size, can have it across the room and still see it in the middle of the night. Dual battery and cord also means that if the power goes it, it won't stop. Easy to use features and alarm. Will buy one for my Mum.

This is an excellent clock. No Fancy radio or anything. The display is quite big and has four dimmer settings and Very easy to set the time. The USB cord that came with it did not work but I had plenty of those lying around. If you want to put batteries it uses four double A. All you need is an adapter to plug in the USB and you're all set. The clock is super light unless you install the batteries.

Me encantantó era lo que yo quería desde hace muchísimo para regalarle a mi mamá, se mantiene encendido todo el tiempo, le puedes variar la intensidad de la carátula, los que yo había visto, la carátula se mantiene apagada hasta que presionas un botón. Me encantó y voy a comprar por lo menos uno más.
