Great set, worked as intended, correct size
They worked great, I tested them on all my factory 308 chambers and they worked as they should then I tried them on my new build and it closed on the no go, i am very glad I checked it before trying to fire it.

NOT COMPATIBLE!
These gauges don’t work! The extractor cut outs are way to small for both JP HP bolts & Lantac enhanced bcg’s. I had to break down the bolts anyhow, so I am sending back the gauges. I bought them for the convenience but they don’t work.

actual dimension of either gage is not known
For the cost, I expected the actual dimensions of the go and no go gages to be printed on the side of the gages. They aren't. I have a brass Redding gage purported to be at SAAMI minimum (1.630" for .308 Win), and the GO gauge is a full 1 thousandths longer, with the NO GO gauge 5 thousandths beyond the GO. So, I still don't know quite where I am at. (I am not confident in the Redding gage.) The nice aspect of these gages is that a notch has been cut into the rim to align with the ejector on your bolt face, so you don't have to disassemble your bolt to use these cases. (Try dismantling a Savage Arms bolt sometime.)
