Back Saver Universal Water Collector

Great little device, and just what I've been looking for! I test our FL pool at least once a week and this device makes it simple to collect a sample without kneeling on the pool deck. Just attach it to the extension pole you use for your pool brush or net, and you can collect a sample from anywhere in the pool, at any depth. No more kneeling on my bad knees! Other sampling devices I found online were way too expensive to justify buying -- but this one is very affordable.

My husband has problems getting on his hands and knees to collect the water for sampling. This makes the job so much easier. it is no longer a daunting task for him. Thanks for a great idea

I have been brainstorming on how to keep my arms dry when I need to test the pools. I thought of something as this. And now I found it. I only need a small sample of water to test so I remove the water bottle. It works perfectly.Update. The clip shattered today when I retracted my pole. Easy fix though. Just replace it with a more durable clip.Pros: it works

Works like a charm to let me collect a water sample from the pool. The bottle friction fits into the base which seems 3D printed.

I wanted a way to fill a sample bottle from eighteen inches below the pool surface without having to get on my knees to do it. This product works OK for that.But, the mouth of the sample bottle is too wide to allow me to easily poor water into the test kit cylinders we all use. I have an old isopropyl bottle about the same size with a much smaller neck. It works fine.The other issue I have is that it is cumbersome to draw a sample with this connected to a standard pool cleaning pole, even collapsed to it’s shortest length.Good idea, but I gave up and started using a Grabber and my little isopropyl bottle. Works great!
