Great TV
This TV is just perfect for our bedroom. Some reviewers previously stated that it is difficult to set up. I did not find it difficult at all - just plug in the TV, power on and follow the onscreen prompts as the auto-setup and auto-tuning does it all for you. Yes, there is not really a full instruction book included - merely a quick setup guide and a very basic owner’s manual - but that seems to be the standard for electronic devices these days. The full user guide can be accessed by using the onscreen menu on the TV once setup is completed. And that’s the thing - one has to explore the various menus to understand the full features and settings of the TV. Some people seem reluctant to explore the information this way, but spend a little time exploring the menus and associated features (you cannot really break the TV doing this!) and you can customise the TV exactly how you want it.The picture quality is splendid - as one should expect for a HDTV - but I did find the factory settings (brightness, colour, contrast etc.) a little harsh, so I adjusted that slightly.Overall, well pleased - and so are the "kids" who wanted to watch one of their favourite films!

Yup, worth it!
I am extremely happy with this TV. It is easy to set up!!! Yay! Smart features work and the picture and sound are great.....got it for my Mom and she loves it....what more can I say? Oh, here....don't leave the "voice" on when setting it up, it was a pain in the hoo-hoo to find where to turn it off!!

Love!
Purchased two of these tvs for me and my son. I must say we are enjoying them immensely. I was a little worried that it wasn't 4k but I don't even notice that much of a difference. He loves all the SMART features. For the price, this has to be the best TV on the market, plus you can pair Alexa with it. Win, win, win.

A must buy! Great quality, price, durability and more.
Quality unit, good size, sound and picture quality. Needed space for display, storage and usage very helpful. I would purchase this unit again.

LG...so very true to its products!
My first new television in 22 years. What a shock to see such a clear picture, not to mention it comes on right away when you hit the power button. I am amazed at the quality and clarity. I am now watching all the movies I watched before but now with more depth to them.

Terrible Purchase
As a TV it functions fine. That's all it does. It constantly drops internet connectivity requiring either leaving and rejoining the network or any number of other random things to get it to work. The controls aren't super intuitive and everything is verrrry slow to load (try entering a password while waiting for the box to click to the next letter every time), and it has the worst wireless card I can imagine. I literally purchased a wireless router to put 10 feet from the TV for just the TV to use because I kept dropping signals and it still won't connect properly when I start it. Essentially, if you want to have 10 minutes worth of troubleshooting every time you turn on your tv then this is the one for you, but having to do all of this defeats the entire purpose of a smart tv. It is literally faster to turn on my playstation and use it's functions while using this as a normal tv than trying to use any of the TV's feature, which is very frustrating. Do. Not. Buy.

Not that smart.
This TV doesn't do most of what I need it to do. It doesn't actually work with Alexa, which I discovered after downloading multiple apps, creating 2 different accounts with LG, and giving away reams of personal information. I understand that I could buy another device which would make voice control possible, but I'm cheesed off that I have to. Secondly, the Phillips audio output jacks don't work, so I can't use headphones without, you guessed it, buying another device. The best I can say about this TV is that it handles streaming video adequately--but then, so does my old 27-inch iMac, which has a working headphone jack. Lots of buyer's remorse here--for the Echo Dot I bought, too.Update: I broke down and bought a digital to analog converter that has a headphone jack, and THAT didn't work either, suggesting a bad optical output. Since that's now two malfunctioning outputs, I assume it's a defect in my unit, rather than a design flaw. Still, the TV is going back, and I think I'll hold off buying another until I'm ready to spend more.

Perfect for the price
Great looking smart TV with all the apps and services that come with that - Netflix, Amazon Video, etc. Great picture too - although I have no idea how durable it is because I've only had it a month
