Defective product horrible customer service and worthless warranty.
I got the bow in February and just got it setup less than 50ish arrows through it and the string broke on the loop on the top cam and no it wasn't dry fired i know better than to do that ive been shooting since i was 8 im now in my 40s I have a bear from the 90s that still shoots well and I bought this one based on that and the recommendation of a friend i was getting the new bow sighted in when the string blew apart hitting me and thankfully it was the top cam that it blew off of and it hit me in the stomach and left a welt but had it been the other end i would likely be out a eye when i contacted customer service I was told to take it to the nearest archery shop I thought that was odd as how would I know if it was affiliated with them for warranty before I could even take it in I got a email saying that the ticket was being closed normally that would mean that the issue had been resolved so I replied that it was not fixed yet and I got a very short email saying that they did all they had to and to take it to the nearest shop so I emailed again to clear up some questions about the warranty process and found that I am expected to pay for the repair on my new bow or I had to send it in to bear paying shipping and potentially repair fees on top of that that this is the first time dealing with a bow warranty but normally with guns or other similar products i would be sent to a warranty center or given a exchange or at least sent a shipping ticket to get the repairs done at the factory none of which appears to be the case and the service rep just seems bothered my my questions not helpful at all I can understand a issue on a product I am myself a repair technician in another field but how the issue is handled at that point is issue I have and at this point I have a bow that is more of a paper weight and that i will need to spend more money and time to get working properly and frankly I worry that that may be putting good money to bad as the bow may be defective or damaged from when the string blew apart so at this point I will not be telling anyone to look at a bear products in fact my brother was looking for a bow for the upcoming season and was glad I shared with him what happened to me. My season will have to use my old bow in the mean time I will have to do more research if had before I would have seen more people that had the same issue that i did as after it happened I found identical pictures on Amazon I hope others don't end up in the same boat as me.

Quality
The "Grow-With-You" Design The standout feature of the Legit Maxx is the adjustment range. You can dial it anywhere from 10lbs to 70lbs without needing a bow press. This makes it a rare breed: a bow that a teenager can use for target practice and an adult can use for a serious elk hunt.Performance & Feel At a 30-inch axle-to-axle length, it’s compact enough for a tree stand but stable enough for consistent accuracy. The 75% let-off is smooth, meaning when you’re pulled back at that full 70lbs, you’re only actually "holding" about 17.5lbs. This allows you to stay at full draw longer to wait for the perfect shot. The "Ready to Hunt" (RTH) Package Bear includes Trophy Ridge accessories (Whisker Biscuit, 4-pin sight, stabilizer). While these are "entry-level," they are far from junk. They are rugged and functional right out of the box, though most serious archers eventually upgrade the plastic cable slide. The "Broken String" SituationIt is frustrating to unbox a high-performance piece of machinery only to find the string snapped or frayed. This occasionally happens due to a known issue with the factory cable slide having a small "bur" or sharp edge that can snag the string during shipping or the first few test draws. The Amazon Experience: > "My bow arrived with a broken string, which is a massive letdown for a 'Ready to Hunt' kit. However, Amazon made it right immediately. Their customer service handled the replacement without a headache, ensuring I got a pristine unit to get back on the range. It’s a testament to why buying through a platform with a solid return policy is essential for archery gear.

AMAZINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!
Fred bear would be turning in his grave if he knew what they did to his company. Bear archery went from 5 star to half a star, their bows are now junk.
