Kyser Low-Tension Quick-Change Guitar Capo for 6-string guitars, Matte Blackout, KG6LT

This has been an excellent capo for my Fender Stratocaster, and would work great with any other electric guitar. The low-tension spring is great for electric guitars because the strings are set much lower than acoustic guitars, which requires much less tension to clamp them down to the frets. Too much tension can result in the capo being hard to use on the fly and potentially getting out of tune faster. You can tell this is well-made of quality materials. For an electric guitar, definitely go with this low tension model vs the original model.

I am a beginner guitarist and so wasn't entirely sure what constitutes a "good" capo. This one is smaller than I thought it would be, but it works great for my 3/4 size guitar. Clamps cleanly onto the strings and is easy to change from one fret to the next.

This capo fits into my guitar easily , looks great, and fully mutes the strings without any buzzing.

No issues with this. My 8 year old has a little difficulty squeezing it to get it on, but it's perfect tension for me and works well. Quick on and off.

Works fine on my 3/4 Luna and full size Ibanez. No need for more tension.

I love Kyser Capos. It’s the only capo I use. Product on Amazon shows it being the LT (Low Tension) Model, which in my opinion works better for electric guitar. I ordered the LT model and I received the Acoustic model. I didn’t need this model but I will keep it for back up on my acoustics.Minus 1 star for receiving wrong model. But over all Kyser makes great products!

If you're a fan of the Kyser capo, this is an improvement to the design. There's still plenty of tension for a 6-string acoustic guitar. No need for the standard tension model anymore, in my opinion. Just get this model instead. Easier to use and pulls the strings less out-of-tune.One issue with the Kyser design in general is that it does tend to pull the strings sharp. But it's fast to operate for playing live. This low-tension model makes the capo even faster to use (less effort to operate and faster to make small adjustments to position) and reduces the severity of the tuning problem. So it's a win-win.

This capo has just the right amount of tension for any guitar. It's very easy to squeeze but looks and feels very sturdy. I think Kyser should just make all their capos "low tension".*It comes with a coupon code for a free trial at www. jamplay.com.

This is a great Capo but it’s a bit harder to grab due to the larger frame. I solved this problem by installing grip material on the two parts that I grab. Expensive, but works great!

- Ist dasselbe Teil das auch T. E. verwendet.- Ist nur für Western Gitarren mit rundem Griffbrett geeignet. Also nicht für klassische Gitarren mit geradem Griffbrett.- Nach dem Abziehen (mit einer Hand) muss man in der Regel nicht noch einmal nachstimmen. Es ist aber eine gute Idee nach dem Aufsetzten (benötigt zwei Hände) nachzustimmen.- Das Kapodaster basiert auf einem Gummi, der eine Erholungszeit braucht bis Einkerbungen wieder "ausheilen". Ist bei normalem Gebrauch kein Problem, da nach 10 Minuten noch keine Einkerbung entsteht.- Es ist aber ein No Go das Kapodaster eine Woche auf der Gitarre zu lassen, es abzuziehen um es sofort wieder aufsetzen zu wollen. Dann klingt immer eine Saite unrein.

Clips perfectly and all even in tune. Great capo this low tension, the higher tension was too much for my martin 12 gauge, get this one instead.
