Black - S2 version is similar to regular version, includes extra quality of life features.
Package arrived 1 day earlier than expected, I ordered the Black - S2 version which I have noticed there is no reviews of as of the time of this review. It seems the S2 works to improve on some of the downsides other reviewers have noted with the regular black version, the armrests ARE adjustable on this version of the chair. My only complaints are similar to that of other reviewers who ordered the regular version, some of the screw holes are hidden underneath fabric and leather and require you to stretch the material out to reach the hole. I also had an issue with one of the two screwholes on one of the armrests not lining up properly, but after some struggling I managed to get it secured.Edit: after 10 months of owning this chair the right armrest has completely broken off, and the left armrest is forever loose. Even after tightening, the left armrest will loosen itself over time. I have contacted Homall about this issue and will change my review depending on the result.Edit 2: It's been a while, and I received new armrests for the chair that worked fine. No problems with how tight they were, and they worked fine at least for a little while. However, the same one broke nearly a month after receiving the new armrests. This chair isn't for sale right now but if it ever does go back up, be warned as I'm pretty sure they skimped on the quality for more features.

Best chair for the price
I purchased this chair for my dorm room, as the one supplied by the university was awful. It was easy to assemble, had easy to read directions, and wasn’t missing any parts.Took me at most 30 min to buildAs for the chair itself, there’s more than enough cushion almost everywhere. It’s very comfortable when sitting for extended periods of time, and I don’t have the shift around nearly as much as I used to. The ability to adjust the back is also one of my favorite features, and is great when just sitting around relaxing, or watching a video. In all, for the price you really can’t beat it. The design and styling is also a lot better than some much more expensive chairs too.

A few minor quality issues, otherwise a very nice budget chair.
I was interested in a high back chair with some neck support and decided to pick this one up since it was fairly cheap. Assembly was pretty straightforward although I did run into a few minor quality issues during the build. A number of the threaded holes for the large bolts have a few solidified drops of what looks like metal or glue but I was able to push past these fairly easily. The others were a bit more annoying. The smaller bolts used to fasten the plastic covers on the hinges strip very easily and I had to use a separate tool to finish threading them in. This is likely because the included hex key isn't totally square with the bolt heads. The last issues was that one end of one of the straps on the lumbar cushion was stitched on backwards and now there's a notable twist in the strap. These all didn't affect anything once the chair was together and it ended up looking and feeling pretty good for my tastes. The faux leather feels quite soft though we'll see how long it lasts after prolonged use and I do like the rubber coated, cushioned armrests since I've always had bad luck with armrest faux-leather cracking in the past. I didn't quite like how the lumbar cushion felt; it pushed me too far forward in the chair and I especially didn't like how it felt when reclined. The cushions may be a little firm for some people but I think it's fine. I'm 6 foot, 180 pounds and the chair conforms pretty well to my build and the neck/head cushion is very nice addition for someone who has been stuck in mid back chairs with no head support for years. The reclining feature works well too although I will admit, going to a full recline is a little scary at first. So apart from the issues I had during the build I really like this chair but of course my tastes aren't for everyone. If you're looking for an affordable, high back gaming chair, this is one to check out.

It broke.
I ordered it on December 16, 2018 and it broke from the base on April 19, 2020. It only lasted 16 months. Both of the arms on the chair can't support much weight; one could call the metal flimsy. I found myself having to bend them back towards myself quite often and one of them even broke because it was extended when I was bending it back causing the plastic to break and the inner mechanism of the height adjuster to fall out and that happened within 5 months or less to my recollection. But yea the other day I was laying back a bit listening to music as I do and the seat broke away from the base almost causing me to fall on my head backwards. Luckily I was close to my wall and it caught me....P.S. Would not buy again.- Nolan

This chair laughs at SecretLabs
First off, I hate change. I have a chair I bought over 5 years ago from Staples when it was on sale which the armrests are completely covered in gorilla tape and gorilla glue to hold them together...so swapping chairs was not something I did quickly or easily.A good friend of mine got another version of this chair for Christmas and told me how much he enjoyed it (albeit he had a slight issue with the castors but nothing that could not be remedied) so I started looking at the new 2019 model.I bought it after finding it on sale via Amazon and the features on the chair completely put it in a class of their own when compared to even basic "gaming" chairs from Staples or "DX Racer/Maxnomic/SecretLabs".After assembly the first concern is "how comfortable is this, really?" Well, here is my average day when I am off work and not dealing with my child/wife/etc and can actually relax:Wake upGet on computer (this involves the chair)Many....many....hours later go watch TV or pass out. This chair remains comfy for HOURS of gaming....not just a couple hours, but 8-12 hours straight of gaming. The neck pillow is amazing and the lumbar pillow is amazing for long session or people who just want more in the form of lumbar support! For the price you CANNOT beat this chair and as for the DX Racer chair I sat in (which was over double the price of this chair) it's substantially more comfortable than more "expensive name brand options".
