Does the job and does it well
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Sadly, my old tripod was literally on it's last leg and I needed to replace it. I didn't need anything fancy but cheating out to the extreme definitely wasn't an option this time around. Rather than spend hundreds on a tripod like a madman, I took a look at what I use them for and settled for this one. I don't use them daily and I don't use then to pan any shots. I almost always use it for static photography, typically HDR shots. For hdr shots, you need a very steady camera to take pictures at a variety of exposures. You then merge them into one picture. You can understand how important sturdiness is for this. I've take a few such shots with this tripod in use and it does a very good job. The legs are most definitely aluminium and the latching mechanism is excellent. I love the included bag and extra foot too! Why spend a bazillion dollars on a tripod if your a casual photographer anyway?

Very versatile tripod
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. In the box you will first find the tripod in its own tripod case with a shoulder strap attached to the soft case. Inside the case there of course is the tripod plus an extra camera mounting plate and a sturdy cellphone mount that you can mount to the spare mounting plate so you always are ready to switch over to your phone as a backup as I did when opening this because the battery on my camera died. The tripod itself feels decently sturdy being higher quality than the cheapest tripods you can find which I am good at accidentally breaking legs off of... I am 5ft 7in and at full height it is good for about the highest I would reasonably be filming being just about level with my head. The tripod ball is removable so if you want to mount a different tripod mount you could. Now on the bottom there is a decently sturdy plastic hook if you need to weigh down the tripod say you are filming in wind or you can screw it off and there is a standard camera mount screw on the bottom so you can mount a camera to the bottom and have a low to the ground shot or you can completely flip the middle bar of the tripod and have the main ball head upside down. The legs of the tripod all lock at a point to keep the tripod upright and even but if you want to take it lower without moving the legs in you can just pull the little lock pieces at the tops of the legs and there is 2 more locking positions the legs can be moved out to. On the feet of the tripod you can adjust the little rubbers to either expose metal points on each leg for rough terrain or screw them out to cover the metal tips and have just the rubber touching the surface the tripod is on. I have several tripods and on a scale of rough catching movement to smooth flowing I would definitely say this is one of my better smooth moving tripods. Overall it is a very versatile tripod that I look forward to using more and trying out some duel filming by having a camera on top and a camera on bottom.

This is a great tripod!
I used this tripod for the first time this afternoon. I love the feature where you can turn the center pole upside down and shoot low angle macro shots. I don't know why all tripods don't have this great feature! I'll be using this one for many years to come.

Versatility at an affordable price
Finally, a relatively light-weight, travel camera tripod for the intermediate level amatuer with a tight budget. Fully extended, the tripod brings my camera up to my natural eye level rather than requiring me to bend or squat for extended periods of time to focus and shoot. And while I do use my camera and tripod frequently for shots like that, what really "sold" me on this camera was the ability to suspend the camera beneath the tripod for macros and low angle shots. I shoot a lot of macros and this feature, along with the ability to change the angle of the legs will come in very handy for all my macro shots--especially when I am shooting directly overhead. What's more, if you really want to, you can mount your camera and your cell phone simultaneously, taking shots from above and below at the same time. I know, I tried.

Good
I needed a replacement tripod after mine was stolen and decided on this one. It actually holds my camera a little better than the one I had, which ironically was made for my camera (Canon). I am not a professional photographer but more of a hobbyist. I used this to do directory photos at our church and it worked great. As upset as I was for having to replace my stolen tripod, I can say I am quite happy with this choice

Okay for the price.
I like this tripod better than most I've owned, but one of the feet on the bottom will not turn and not everything tightens up as it should. It is pretty versatile. It comes with an extra qr clip and cell phone adapter mount, which is pretty awesome.

Does the job!
Maybe for outdoor, not sturdy enough if you are carrying this around all the time and assembling and disassembling it, but if you are using this indoors, for the price really good buy. Highly recommended!

Lightweight, durable, inexpensive.
I’m shocked with how amazing this Tripod works not only for camera but also for phone. Very easy to carry to any place with the light weight design, the height is perfect for me. Great price too. Thanks much
