We struggled to find that style mailbox with exactly the correct dimensions for our home which is in a neighborhood that has specific regulations. Also, our mailbox sits directly next to our neighbor's mailbox, so we tried to make sure the dimensions were correct. The dimensions stated were not exactly as received. We put the box up anyway, and are hoping no one notices the difference. It's an inch or or 2 narrower and slightly higher.

I purchased this as a wedding gift. I live in Canada so I had it delivered to our nearest border town. When the mailbox arrived, the paint was chipped off on the pedestal. I contacted the seller US Fire Dist and received very poor customer service from them. They wanted a picture of the damage and I sent that off immediately. They also said that the product had been inspected, I'm not sure what they were insuating. They also said I could send it back, but I would have to pay for the shipping. This process also would have taken weeks and it would not have been back in time for the wedding. In the end, after several emails back and forth, they reimbursed me 10.00. Although the product is beautiful and sturdy, I would never, ever purchase anything from this company again. They need some serious training in customer service!!

It matches the 22 year old mailboxes currently in our HOA. Installation needs to be done by someone other than me.

Finally opened the box, there were areas were quite a few large gashes, the paint chipped off. Not what I expected for a brand new item.

I was very disappointed in this product. After I put it together, the door in the back wouldn't open. It got jammed with the overhang on the cover. The lock was very loose and I had to tighten it with a screw driver. After I did this the key wouldn't come out of the lock. If it wasn't such a pain to return, I would have done so.

Replaced mail box required by HOA and it matched perfectly.
