Bermuda Beach Pre-formed Pond 1.52m x 1.12m / Pond Liner

We had wanted a fish pond for quite a while and having never created one before was a little apprehensive in doing one for ourselves with a pond liner. The issues that we have heard arise from using a liner was the easy tearing we were also concerned that we would be unable to construct the look we wanted.We decided to go the pre-formed route and after looking at many pre-formed ponds at out local store we decided on this one from Amazon as it was not only more cost effective but also had the look and shape that we wanted and just happened to be the perfect size for the space we had.When the pond came it was rolled up and sealed in plastic. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't go back into shape but after following the well written instructions of placing the pond upside down and waiting for it to regain its shape it did just that in a couple of hours.The pre-formed pond is very sturdy and had a little give around the edges for fitting. It took a while to dig the hole but once that was done and lined with sand it fitted quite well. Whilst slowly filling the pond with water we continued to fill the gaps between the dirt and the pond around the edges of the hole as the pond expanded, the sand was added to provide support for the pond.It has been in a couple of months now and we have had no issues with it at all. The depth of the pond is perfect for a pump and filter. You don't really notice the edges now that the plants around the side have grown a little and I am really impressed with the quality and ease of installation. (I didn’t do the digging my husband did)

I found this pre formed pond liner very good quality at a very reasonable price and held its shape well when installing.Now installed it is very pleasing and has a nice array of shelving for plants

Split along one seam after 18 months - had to rebuild pond as a result. Not recommended.

The pound arrived and was almost flat, it had been badly crushed by the delivery company, however due to its toughness and with some patience on our part we managed to re shape it almost back to its original, It could do with a slightly bigger lip around the edge for installation, however this could be down to the fact it was so poorly when we unpacked it.

If you only want a small pond and are not sure whether you will end up wanting to keep one this is ideal. Some of the rigid ponds are very expensive and despite being quite thin it is tough and easy to install saying it comes with a twenty five year guarantee...

This item is not as stated in the product details. The length is 1.4 m x 94 cm. this is from edge to edge. Internal dimensions are a lot less. Delivery was very fast and came next day.

Ours came well packed in a huge box and was only very minimally deformed on opening, it was fine within minutes.I'd suggest buyers make a cardboard template of the outline of the liner to assist in digging the hole, then be prepared for a lot of waste soil to get rid of! Main thing is to make sure you get the base bits level and supported, you can always back-fill around it once you've dug down deep enough. Don't forget to use a spirit level before filling. Dug in, fitted and added pump all within a day - comes with free sunburn if like me you forget lotion.We have our old pond flowing into this one, and our resident frog wasted no time in investigating its new plunge pool. Can't rate this highly enough, especially when comparing prices with some equivalent pre-formed liners.
