LEVOIT Smart Air Purifier for Home Bedroom, Quiet for a Nursery, Sprout

I've been using this Levoit air purifier for a few weeks now, and honestly, it's a game changer. Setup took about two minutes with the app. It runs super quietly on sleep mode, so it doesn't bother me at all during the night. I've noticed a huge difference in the air quality already. Definitely worth every penny!

I rarely leave reviews, but given what happened to me, I feel a strong obligation to warn other buyers, especially expecting mothers. I purchased this air purifier specifically because I am pregnant and wanted a safe, ozone-free way to manage pet dander from my dog in the bedroom. Within the first day of use, I noticed a faint but distinct chemical odor coming from the machine. I didn't think much of it at the time and kept it running as directed. By day two, I developed a persistent headache and a low-grade fever. By day three, I was experiencing significant chest tightness and difficulty breathing. That night, I went to the emergency room. The diagnosis: pneumonia and bronchitis. The only new variable in my daily routine was this air purifier. I had not been in contact with anyone who was sick, had not changed anything else in my environment, and had no prior respiratory issues. The timing is impossible to ignore. I also did some research on LEVOIT's parent company after this incident, and discovered they had previously been sued by Dyson for false advertising — a lawsuit they chose not to contest. That alone raises serious questions about the integrity of their product claims. I will be returning this product immediately. I strongly urge pregnant women and anyone with respiratory sensitivities to think twice before bringing this machine into their home. A device marketed as a health tool should never leave you fighting to breathe. Returning this. Not worth the risk.

Works great no problems set on auto and app updates all actions and results

This was super easy to set up and I love that the app shows you your room air quality. Recommend!

This Air Purifier is small but mighty. I love the design and features on this product and very happy with my purchase. I use the vesync app a lot to make sure my kids room has good Air quality. One other feature I like is the light along with the nice white noise that you can choose all in the app.

Love the idea of this. Sound machine can be customized to different sounds and levels and times. Light brightness and coolness can be adjusted. I’m just running into this issue with it giving off a chemical like odour and making voc levels rise to toxic levels like 2000 ppb (confirmed by my air things). Doesn’t happen with my other levoit air purifiers. Hoping someone can send a replacement to see if this one is defective but I’m VERY worried as I had it running in my 3.5 month old baby’s room and only connected to the app a week later so didn’t know VOCs were dangerously rising with this on and the door closed. If I turn the unit off I don’t have this issue and VOCs dropped to 40-60ppb as soon as it was turned off and smell went away. Anyways, want to warn others incase this is a manufacturing issue. When I called levoit they just said to return throug Amazon and it seems this unit is so new they hadn’t dealt with it. Also, I’ve learned it takes unique filters, which aren’t available on Amazon or clearly on Levoit’s website.
