Several years ago I was diagnosed as gluten sensitive both genetically and through various medical tests. I was described as being as medically close to celiac without being a celiac as one can come. Once gluten was removed from my diet my mental and physical health improved dramatically. However, I live a very active life outside home. I learned quickly that if I don't control my food ingredients there is a remarkable amount of cross-contamination - such as when a restaurant adds soy sauce to a base and the staff doesn't know it. And of course, there is still the desire to cheat a bit and have a small piece of baguette before dinner and so on...Given that the repercussions were often uncomfortable at a minimum, I opted to try this enzyme after a nutritionist recommended it. While the science out there doesn't yet substantiate these supplements work, I will vouch that it makes a huge difference for me. If its something small like the cheat or more importantly the cross contamination, this product definitely keeps me from having the allergic response.As an experiment, I also tried it with full scale gluten filled pasta and breaded veal dinner. While I still had some stomach pain and felt uncomfortable, it was reduced 90% from having the same meal without the enzyme which resulted with me nearly doubled over in pain for several hours.While this isn't scientific either, all I can say as a skeptic, is try the product if you have an issue. It's worth the $$ if you can afford it.

My chiropractor told me about these,he also sells them but Amazon is cheaper. Great Product for gluten sensitive peoples.

I think it works pretty well but I really have no way to prove this because I'm Celiac and avoid gluten but I sometimes take is as preventive measure when eating out. I do think it's very expensive, this is why I give it 4stars. I take it bc my Dr. told me to.

I am gluten sensitive, not celiac. I do not know if gluten sensitivity stems from difficulty digesting gluten, which is the problem this product claims to address. I do know that gluten causes inflammation in my gut that gets transferred to my joints. But my gut/joint reaction is not immediate. So, I tried this product but couldn’t tell if it did a thing. Sorry, I wanted it to allow me to reclaim my former relationship with bagels, but I’m still avoiding gluten.

I love these pills! I usually get stomach cramps and uncomfortable pain after eating gluten but these take that away! & the customer service was awesome and made sure I was getting my product when UPS messed up. Thank you! I will buy these again!
