It works
The unit works very well in a house of worship environment. The distance is about 150 ft+ and it works flawlessly. We did not have to adjust the channels to prevent interference with existing WiFi channels, but you may need to like the manual states.

Reliable link but poor picture
I have a flat panel TC mounted 6' from the media cabinet with my cable box and dvd player. In an unobstructed test (cabinet door open for the transmitter and the receiver on a shelf next to the TV within clear line of sight to one another 6' away), the unit established a link quickly and reliably, but the image quality was poor on my 1080p TV. The unit can be set to different WIFI frequencies in 2 bands, which I tried, but no setting got rid fo the pixellation and latency. I returned the unit.

It works, video not smooth
I installed this today to replace an older set which was starting to failThe good news was the image came up right away and didn’t lose signal lockThe not so good news was that channels from the cable box that had moving text like cnbc showed the text in a very jerky fashion that made it almost unreadableI thought going down in resolution to 480I might fix it but it didn’tAlso panning shots were not smooth at allHopefully the client will get used to this

Nice when it works
Purchased this product to extend my cable box to a TV in a room that lacks a cable connection. Send unit and receiver are less than 20 feet apart. Works great when it works. However, all too often it loses its connection and either one or both boxes need to be reset by unplugging them and then plugging them back yet. This is very annoying.UPDATE: Unit died the other day. What a piece of crap. Never worked properly. Had to reset it almost every day. Would often cut out in the middle of the show and take five minutes or more to reset. Junk! Save your money. If I could I would take five stars away.

Walls reduce its quality
I bought this to watch a portable tv on my deck. I’m only 30’ max from my Directv receiver. Distance is greatly reduced even going through one wall. Be prepared to move the unit and the units antenna to achieve the best signal. Even then the video can be strange looking. Jittery. The audio can also sound like its in a tin can. We bought another one for my neighbors deck. This one works better.

Excellent Product
We had an old projector with a wireless hdmi device. Had a national company design and install a new projector and sound system in our conference room. Never did like the old wireless hdmi device because I always had connection problems with it. With the new system I decided to try this Wireless HDMI extender. What a difference. Picture and sound are fantastic and I do not have any connection problems no matter what a presenter brings to the conference. After the projector and sound system was installed the installer contacted me to see how this new device worked because he had a customer that needed the same type of set up. I did give a high recommendation for this device.Update. I lost the instructions and needed to contact the seller. The person that responded, William, took the extra effort to send me a pdf of the instructions. Thank you William.

Easy to set up but not good quality
Update review: Have just used the hdmi extender about one week, it doesn’t work at all. I couldn’t even get fluent image and audio. So sorry but have to return it.Bought this to replace an older hdmi extender at my home. Easy to set up. Simply connected the HDMI cables to the transmitter and the Roku device, then compacted the receiver to your TV. Then they work and you would get nice image and audio.
