As a new sourdough baker, I needed multiple tools and this kit has been good for that reason. Pros: The whisk is a nice sturdy quality. The plastic bowl scrapper is amazing and I use it the most out of all the tools. I use the brush to clean the liners of excess flour and it works well. The lame works as expected and I like that there are multiple blades and a lame cover. I haven't used the metal scrapper yet so can't judge that aspect. Cons: the proofing baskets are not a great quality. The surface is covered in wooden slivers, so you have to be careful handling them. One also had a completely cracked panel. The baskets still work but they are definitely something I'll have to replace soon or else I will end up with too many slivers from picking them up.

These are truly great!! I use for my freshly milled sourdough breads! I use an elastic proofing cover to keep the bread from drying. They do well. I keep the cloth and banneton separate until totally dried to prevent any mold issues.

I have been using the baskets for a little while. They are the perfect size, good quality and function as they should.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Each part of the set is great quality. I am getting started on my “sourdough journey” and each tool has been of great use. The tools are described how to use (very well) in the directions. I was able to use each product very quickly. Whether you are beginning to experiment with sourdough or are seasoned with it- this product seems to be worth it.
