I turn fine wood articles like chessmen on my small lathe , these abrasive strips are fantastic for polishing hard woods like box . I keep all clogged not working so well stripsin a tin then when I have a few dozen blow them out using my airline .Then wash them after a five minute spray soak in " Elbow Grease" degreaser .After several warm water rinses let them dry naturally .This rejuvenates them to as good as new for several more washings .The softer the wood the quicker it eats it away , so cleaning up & using it for sanding sharp edges in thin ply cut on a jigsaw machine it's ideal( Santa and his elves are very busy this time of the year making high quality tree decorations in painted or varnished ply that do not have any rough or splintering edges .)
