Duro-Med No-Wire Walker Basket, Grey

This changed my elderly mom's world for the better. She can slip a mug of coffee, food and other items like mail into the basket, which allows her to be and 'feel' much more independent and confident. Easy to put together (though when it first arrived, I was nervous about how many parts there were) and it is durable. Only note is that it doesn't seem to fit all walkers.

Works great

The wire frame on the old basket wasn’t sturdy and bent. This one has a nice rigid system to mount to the walker that doesn’t shift. It holds several pounds easily.

Bought this because it looked easy for my mother in law to rummage around for things. Her last basket was attached by Velcro and the interior was black fabric. This plastic one falls apart at the tabs. Even roped together it doesn’t stay together. Just another underbuilt plastic waste of money.

Arrived expediently and in a flat parcel.Assembly was a snap and all pieces snap together to make a nice rigid carrier that works well in the "inboard" position.. Little arms reach out and, once again, snap into front Walker legs.Holds all sorts of stuff very well unlike many of the others.

Nice basket - the grey plastic looked a lot better than the wire basket that my mother had been using. Also, the attachment mechanisms seems nicely engineered into basket (it doesn't need cable ties or velcro strips). At the bottom, are some plastic hooks that extend out and clip to the side bars, and the top built-in hooks rest over the top bar. It sits securely. The cup depression is fine - but didn't fit what I consider a standard coffee mug although it fits more narrow mugs and glasses or water bottles.My mother is using a "HUGO Adjustable Folding Walker with 5 Inch Wheels and Plastic Glides". She is fairly short, and preferred the basket hanging off of the top bar rather than off of the second bar down (which is the basket manufacturers suggestion for walkers with 2 front bars). The walker folded adequately, with some hindrance to a full fold, with the basket hanging from on the second bar, and folds very poorly with it on the top bar. Because the plastic hooks that come out are flexible, one can force it a bit, but I take it off. (On the other hand, it is easy to take off and put back on).Overall, I like it a lot. Only drawback is (at least for the HUGO walker noted) it hinders folding the walker. But it is easy to take off and on, is secure when attached, and I like the engineering of the attachment mechanism.

Doesn’t exactly fit the walker and it kept falling apart. We reinforced it with superglue and duct tape. So it works well now.

Did exactly what we were hoping for. Made it easy for Mom to carry her own things. The solid bottom was what made it perfect. Most things could fall through the normal walker baskets

Meine Mutter ist total begeistert. Sie kann jetzt endlich wieder Sachen von einem ins andere Zimmer transportieren. Es ist absolut zu empfehlen sagt sie.

essendo l'unico cestino rigido in commercio non avevo scelta, ero dubbiosa sul fatto di poterlo agganciare al deambulatore in mio possesso ma devo dire che ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Si aggancia perfettamente e lo trovo indispensabile per chi è costretto ad usare il deambulatore e quindi ha entrambe le mani occupate. Lo consiglio vivamente

good product, well made and makes carrying drinks and food easy. Only fits walkers that are the right width, haven't found a walker with wheels that fits.

Buon prodotto utilissimo come integrazione del girello consente il trasporto di piccoli oggetti senza fatica potrebbe già essere previsto di serie anche se il costo è abbastanza alto

Nun kann meine Mutter endlich wieder Kleinigkeiten von einem Zimmer ins andere transportieren ohne ständig auf Hilfe angewiesen zu sein.Ich habe, bedingt durch die Bauweise ihres Gehbocks, allerdings die Halteklammern die unten den Korb am Gehbock stabilisieren sollen durch etwas Tesafilm ergänzt, da die Teile anscheinend keine Arretierung haben und sich ansonsten nach kurzer Zeit lösen wûrden. So hält es bombrnfest. Jetzt schleppt sie für meinen Geschmack allerdings zuviel mit sich rum ;)
