I was more than just a little surprise and pleased when I received this moving head light. It's a beast! Very bright with powerful motors to move the lighting head around. I first set it up to be sound activated and I was not disappointed. it worked great! Then I plugged it into my DMX board. WOW.... lots of great lighting effects, easy to control and did I mention that this thing is BRIGHT? I've used moving head lights that cost twice this much and this one will hold its own with any of them. It has built in fans that are about the same noise level as other lighting instruments of this type so if you've used moving head lights in the past you know what you're getting into there. I'm not going to list all the options you have with this plugged into a light board. Suffice it to say there are a number of them and they all look great. The colors are bright and crisp and the entire light seems very well built. Setting up this light is easy and the menu's are simple to move through. All in all it's just a really great quality light and it's priced well below other lights that are of a similar size with similar features. I should mention that this thing is pretty heavy. You'll need a pretty strong truss system if you intend to hang it. Just a great light and a really nice addition to my light show.

This thing is extraordinary. It’s also really heavy, so be careful when taking it out of the box. I really wish they included a hard case for this thing because one it is very heavy and it would be helpful being able to roll it out Anne 2. It needs protection because it is an optical instrument, I am working on the exact dimensions. I need for the hard case enough area for phone protection and you will need at least 3 inches around either side because this thing is so heavy. The build quality is extraordinary. This thing is professional equipment through and through with a premium fit and finish there is absolutely nothing cheap or janky about this thing. It looks like it was stolen from a Taylor Swift show. It has a powerful motor and intuitive controls and is DMX capable. Comes with the mounting bracket set and the DMX cable and a power. The dimensions are roughly 18 inches on the side in a cube shape so you’re gonna need a big boy of a hard case. You can go a little bit smaller on the depth except that’s the area that’s going to take most of the weight so I would look for a, 2 foot hard case that’s 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep in the interior dimensions.

I work in a typical office environment, where most folks are crammed into cubicles and space is at a premium. We try to have parties every once in a while, but trying to find storage for decorations is a challenge. We recently had a disco party, and I was tasked with finding a party light. This one showed promise, so I went for it. What I love about it is that this is so nice and compact! Seriously, when we're not using it, we can tuck it into a drawer or the corner of a cabinet. This does come with a bracket that you can use if you want to hang it on a wall, but we can't really do that in a state office building. This was perfect for our party. It throws light a large distance, and it's easy to change colors etc with the remote. Since we were disco, we wanted the lights to be mostly white, and it was easy to arrange. We're definitely going to grab this for holiday parties and anything else we can dream up. Like I said, compact and perfect for an office!

This is a professional and perfect stage lighting for a medium size party event as it gives you multiple options to run from DMX, auto, random and or sound mode. In the video clip I was running it on auto and sound mode. I can possibly mix it in with my 2 Chauvet spot 110 setup but I consider this fixture as a great fit for a medium sized event as it is very bright and strong beam without the need of fog or haze. The display screen menu option it is great and easy to navigate and configure either through DMX or standalone through sounds or auto. I would love to get the second one to make the perfect match and setup with my other two shehds 160W moving headlights for my next event. For now I will be adding this to my DMX setup to see how great this will do. I strongly recommend this moving headlights fixture to be your next purchase for your next event. This light is heavy so it would be perfect on a totem pole and or a more sturdy and professional light trust

I do a number of events as a DJ and some clients also ask me to provide lighting. Most of it is pretty basic and I can get by with some random effects on a light bar or small truss, and some PAR cans spread around. However, having a spot or gobo are really nice for more demanding clients. The construction of this light is very good and it is definitely pro-sumer to professional level, at least by my standards. I don’t have an expensive light controller, I just use a ADJ myDMX Buddy which is entry level at best. Even so, I was able to acquire this light and run it through a few simple scenes. It’s powerful enough to use in a mid-size to large event room and a little fog will really make an impact with this. It’s heavy so make sure you have it on an adequate stand and that it is high enough. Be careful about the balance the higher up you mount it and always use safety straps. I had it on an 8’ truss and it worked well, but I feel like if it was even higher, it would have been more dramatic. Since it is large and a bit heavy, it’s won’t be the most portable fixture in your gear and may be best suited for a static location at a single venue. That being said, it’s easy to set up and get working so as long as you protect it, you shouldn’t have any issues carting it around for mobile work. The build quality is good but I don’t know how the gears and more sensitive parts will stand up to a lot of abuse. It didn’t run any more hot than similar lights I have and heat dissipation seemed to be adequate. For the best effect, I think these lights work best in pairs, which means you have to make the choice between one expensive light or two more affordable lights. For the quality and function of this light, I would say this is a good value in the $300 to $350 range. It was $499 when I received it and I couldn’t afford a second light if they stayed at that price level.

I wasn't expecting this party light to be a small as it was; but it does light up a fully dark room. Three star for the monetary value and size.

What an end game level light (outside of world class professional stuff). It's a Monster. Large and in charge. As well as feature rich. With 22-72 channel DMX modes, the color screen (very nice), the super bright lights, the various types of lighting possible, it can simply do it all. I do wish I could chill the sensitivity of the sound mode with finer detail. Also, please for the love of God don't put the reset channel smack in the middle of other useful channels put it on the last channel. Nothing worse than the light having to turn off and reboot because your finger hit the middle slider on your dmx controller. Maybe that's just me. Oh, and watch your hands when you turn the stucker on! But wow it can drop your jaw when it's really going! It without doubt has Wow factor. Just know what your getting yourself into.
