This book is a must have for anyone just starting with rock painting. She covers where to get rocks, how and what to use for prepping rocks, to different types of paints and pens to use, to different styles of painting designs. I love it!

This book is a must have for anyone new to painting rocks. Wonderful photos for different options and materials to use. Step by step instructions which is very helpful for my uncreative self. I hope as I continue to paint my deep inside creative self appears!

This is one of 4 books purchased for our class project (1 for each group). This is the most advanced. We enjoyed the variety of designs (simple to advanced); full range of coloring mediums from pencils to Sharpies & alcohol; glitter; paper or fabric; marbling, watercolors to decoupage. Author offers recommended brands for the specific mediums as well which was helpful. The 4th book I purchased at Michaels, Rock Art! by Denise Scicluna, had more “face art” options for people, critters, monsters, bugs, sun, moon, trees, ocean waves, zoo faces, etc. was more for beginners/kids and laid out instructions in more detail with each chapter providing a “You Will Need “ list. I could not pick one book over the other as our class gravitated toward the book commensurate with their skill level and interest. We used acrylic pens for our kindness rocks project.

I love this rock book. It explains everything in detail with pictures and examples for beginners. I gave this review a five star review because it’s the best rock book I have right now. Go get you one.

Very well written and has many colorful photos of decorated rocks showing so many ways to be creative with a various artistic products that create adorable ideas for inspiration to do your own unique self expression designed works of showcasing to especially create beautiful gardening areas.

This book has great information on tools; paints and ideas. As a paper crafter I can see myself creating something with these ideas on rocks and papers…. And other surfaces. Thank you for writing this book!

This is a really nice book! I bought also ¨The Little Book of Rock Painting from Bac, F. Sehnaz¨ but that one is NOT that good. We got a lot of inspiration and now we need more stones to paint.
