One of those you get what you pay for items. Ok but not the best quality, had for 3 months and the table top has splintering on the corner edges already plus the opening leaves have already warped so they don't sit nice and flush when tucked in. One positive....its a good size when fully opened.

Great table but was damage in delivery

This is a lovely, sturdy dining table, which seats 4-6 people. It arrives needing some basic assembly (legs need to be attached) for which you receive the appropriate pieces and a basic instruction leaflet. Like so many instructions now, it is mostly visual, which makes it easy to follow.This table is black, but this style of table also comes in white and natural wood colour. Without the flaps lifted, to extend it, the table is square and 900mm x 900mm, with a height of 755mm. Each of the flaps is 390mm, which creates a rectangular table of 1680mm long and 900mm wide. The flaps are easy to pull out and fit back easily, meaning this is a nice, versatile piece of furniture.It is worth pointing out that this is easily scratched and, indeed, the instructions suggest it is assemble on a soft layer. I managed to scrape the side slightly, moving it through a doorway. Not a huge issue, but, just be aware that it does mark fairly easily and so you need to bear that in mind. My minor scratch was easily hidden, pushed against the wall, but it is, obviously, best to be aware of it.Overall, though, this is a very nice table. It looks smart and contemporary. It is easily cleaned, with a damp cloth, and you just need to make sure you re-tighten the screws about two weeks after putting it together, to just make sure it is tight (obviously, as with all such pieces of furniture, it might, periodically need to be re-tightened). This is a great table for my children's playroom, where they can eat with friends, do arts and crafts, or do homework. It is ideal now they are older and is a proper, grown up dining table, just for them! Wow this came as one heavy package a square box approx 92 cm x 92 cm which should be kept as a useful 'mat' to avoid damaging the table surface when assembling the legs a couple of easy to fit bolts per leg.The table is square and 90cm square with an average height assembled.Each of the flaps are around 35 cm, which creates a rectangular table with flaps extended of 170 cm long and 90cm wide. The flaps are easy to pull out making this an excellent piece of furniture if you have guests or as a small family unit sitting between 4 and 6 people comfortable and 8 at a squeeze.A great starter table for any family
