Are the Cole and Mason salt and pepper shakers identically manufactured except one set is 7.5 inches tall and one set is 10.12 inches tall

I'm pretty certain the pepper mill has a carbon steel grinding mechanism and the salt mill is ceramic.

We accidentally unscrewed the bottom thinking that is where we refilled the salt and now we can’t get it to screw back in. Any thoughts or tricks?

Pull the top off to fill. Carefully screw bottom back on.

pepper stopped working . knobs to change grind won't work. any suggestions?

I found that with pepper and salt. When I hit each grinder firmly , level and from a short distance on the counter top, the ground stuff that remained in the grinder came out and they worked again. Humidity plays a role, when leftover salt or pepper stay in the grinding "wheel".
