Why did you pick this product vs others?:Color looks mauve in pic which is what I wanted, but too light and too beige in actuality. Is too light for me and too tan. I probably won’t use. Waste of money for me.

I didn't find this eyeshadow to have any pigment. Tried first without a primer 3 times and it was awful, tried again with primer and I got it to show up, but it was faint. I wish this was even comparable to there cheapest drugstore eyeshadows but sadly it's just not. The color is pretty online but it's less purply in person and just looks dusty and dirty. That's saying a lot because I'm pretty forgiving and we all know what a pain it is to return items. Boo, I really wish this worked because the online picture is just the color I've been looking for. So you see those three barely dirty swatches on my hand? The darker of the three is from tapping the color on after picking it up more than once. Ew.

I've been looking for a good base eye color that brightens my eye for a couple years now, but I've really struggled with finding one that had the right pigmentation. Immediately upon using this one I was relieved that I had finally found it. This gave my somewhat pale skin the brightness it needed while still having a nude hue. The eyeshadow color lasted a long time, even after wearing it in the pool (not submerged). For the value and good high quality pigmentation, this is a perfect choice for my skin tone

Color is not as dark as it appears on the model. I like a darker shade and thought it would be but was disappointed after putting it on.
