Nerf Buzzsaw

I bought this for my nephew who is 2 because I thought the balls were easier to keep up with than the darts. (This is from experience.) It was little harder to fire than I thought it was going to be, but he has been shooting his sister with no problems. As with all nerf products, its very durable and well constructed.

We purchased this for our 5 and 9 year olds for Christmas and it was an immediate hit. It is easy for our 5 year old to operate. The foam balls are simply slid into the top chamber, and you can load 3 at a time. You have to pull the priming lever about 5 times to get a good charge, which will give you about 30 feet of distance. Its a great toy for kids who aren't quite ready for the dart guns. We gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is very loud. The rotational device the gun uses for firing power has a loud revving noise, and there is no way to shut it off - you just have to wait for it to stop spinning. (Our relatives were glad to see us go home that night!) Also, the balls do occasionally get stuck in the firing chamber. The directions tell you to push the ball backwards into the firing chamber with the eraser-end of a pencil, and that works. I think they get stuck when you try to fire the gun without it being fully revved up. My 5 year old still wants a dart gun, but until he's old enough to control his aim, this is a good substitute.

If you are looking for ultimate domination on your opponent then look no further. The Nerf Buzzsaw is the weapon of choice when you want to inflict the pain and win the game. Though it is not sneaky in the least bit. The buzzsaw intimidates your enemy before giving them the force of high quality green nerf balls. Also my cousin loved it.

I really didn't like this at all. I expected a softer nerf ball that 2 and 4 year olds could play with but this shoots hard balls out very fast and they hurt,

I bought two of these, one for each of my boys. They both broke almost immediately. The balls got jammed, and one of them split in two. I was so disappointed with the quality of this toy that I swore off guns like this for some time. Since then, we've gotten a few other nerf type blasters and they've been of decent quality, but I wouldn't bother buying this one- at least not online if you do- because you'll be returning it in short order.

I bought the Hasbro Nerf Buzzsaw Blaster for my 2 sons for Christmas. The price was $5.00 each. The reviews said it was a very loud toy. I couldn't pass up the price, so I bought some anyways. This is a VERY LOUD toy! You have to manually pull the wheel into action, then when the trigger is pressed, a ball drops down and the wheel spits it out.If you get the wheel going as fast as it will go, the balls go pretty fast and hit rather hard. For an older kid or an adult this would be a fun toy. For kids (mine are 7 and 5) this toy is big and they don't have the patients to rev the wheel up as much as is needed, so it just gets tossed out.Like I said, this is now considered an "outside" toy in our house because it is so loud. And I'm guessing it won't be used much until the Uncles come down and start a war in our back yard. It's definitely a summer gift idea.

Great ball gun! The balls are perfect size and power is good for 3 yr old. So much fun!

We got a few of these when they were on sale and gave them as Christmas gifts. It's a lot of fun, and shoots a pretty good distance (20 or 30 feet?).Anyway, my 2 1/2 year old son can work it just fine and loves it. I do recommend it.
