These poop bags are biodegradable which is great.They come non scented so I don’t upset my dog when I’m clearing up after him. The bags are sturdy and fairly large. Unfortunately they don’t have any handles.

I’ve bought the Earth Rated plastic poo bags but wanted to move away from plastic so these seemed a good option. And they are great! You can’t compost them in your garden but knowing they will biodegrade over time in the tip is good to know. They are strong, easy to open and have a neutral smell. My only gripe with this company is that they are called ‘earth rated’ and advertise on the plastic perfumed one that they are good for the planet…not really…!

Properly compostable bags that are easy to use. Switched to these bags after previous brand became unreliable (variable quality) and impossible to open. These bags are great.

No the cheapest bag out there but great eco-friendly alternative to plastics poo bags.Strong, large, decent thickness and seals any smells in.No risks of splits, leaks or popping a finger through...will not be going back to thin, plastic bags!

Having recently discovered that biodegradable bags contain heavy metals that break down the plastic into little pieces that are still terrible for the environment and so no better than non-biodegradable plastic bags, I went in search of a compostable product. Currently a "compostable" bag made from plants rather than plastic seems to be the only environmentally responsible option.These bags fit the bill on this front and are strong and aesthetically pleasing. My only small gripe is that they don't have handles and are very fiddly to open. Sometimes I'm stood there for a minute or two trying to open one. It's not the end of the world for an option that isn't polluting plastic in the grand scheme of things, but I must admit being drawn back to the plastic nappy bags with handles I was using previously as they open really easily even when wearing gloves, which is an important factor when it comes to winter (I suffer from Raynaud's disease so gotta keep those gloves on!). Luckily these bags are long enough to tie a knot in them to close them, although my dog is very small. I'm not sure it would be big enough to do this if you had a very large breed. They are translucent so you can see the poo through the bag. That doesn't bother me at all, but I know some people find it embarrassing.These bags are also on the expensive side, so not affordable as my only poo bags long term (my dog tends to poop at least twice on walks, so if walked twice per that can soon become costly).Ultimately, whilst there's room for improvement, this is a good quality bag and I'm glad a compostable option exists. Will I buy them again? Possibly, although I'll be looking for an easier-to-open option for the colder months.

Excellent, excellent poo bags... good sturdy material, easy to dispense, easy to open and use, highly recommended... I have these on a monthly order so I never run out... :-)

Great for picking up dog poo, no funny stories of how I put my hand through them to tell. Compostable useful and sturdy enough for the wettest or biggest doggy dump.

Compostable bags is a far better choice than using plastic, they are sturdy, not flimsy and are a perfect size.

Love the compostable bag to put in Green Bin. Thick enough to not rip at tear-off or during pick-up. Non-scented. Very trusty product.

Has a light, but pleasant fragrance. Is needed everyday, and is better for the environment. My son tried for his dogs on a visit and has now switched to these too.

I tried many bags that were advertised as "green" or "plant based" and they weren't. This bag seems to be really biodegradable as they say. Once I left a used bag on a stone wall and found it two weeks later, and it was just a mound, only the knot was left. The bag had seemingly dissolved, no plastic. I put these full into my pocket on trail walks, and they have never leaked or broken and they contain the smell. I can even untie a used bag and use it a second time if my dog goes again later. Very tough and they stretch some so they are easy to tie and untie (if you need to). I throw the used bags into my big brush and leaf pile to compost, i don't even put them in the trash. So glad I can do this for the planet. Highly recommend.

These are great bags. If you’re anything like me, and taking the time to look through the reviews, and pay the extra for earth friendly dog waste bags, then you probably actually care if the bags are really earth friendly. I have tried several brands of doggy bags claiming to be ‘bio-degradable’ etc, then when they come, they end up being cheap, dollar store quality plastic, and not at all compostable or earth friendly. These bags however, are actually as advertised. They are the appropriate COMPOSTABLE texture, and do actually break down. They don’t have a scent, but they do have a good thickness and durability, and are big enough to wrap up the happy little gifts my large German Shepherd whips up for me several times daily, without incident. I will be making these my go-to bags from now on. I am so happy I have to look no further.

Surprised in a good way about the material. It is super smooth plastic. The rip a tiny bit easier then “normal” plastic poop bags. But I have a small chihuahua so not so worried about ripping. 😊 Could def consider buying them again.
