Disappointing
Hugely disappointing!This set of shears did not do what it claimed it would. I missed my 30 day returns due to personal circumstances.However, I used these shears for a few hours and gave up and went back to the rusty old stiff ones I was replacing with this purchase, and they still out performed these by a mile +If you are considering buying these and have more than a house plant to clip, don’t waste your money

does the job
I used this Lopper for the first time today day and managed to cut through quite thick branches easily. I just hope it stays sharp a while. I like the weight is extendable.

So Pleased I Bought This!
I bought this lopper just before Christmas 2012 using money already given to me as a Christmas present. Only today have I actually used the lopper and I am so pleased that I bought this particular lopper. I did take quite a long time checking through the details online of all the many different loppers offered through Amazon before I made the decision which to buy. This lopper is terrific. Especially with the telescopic handles extended it is really easy to cut cleanly quite thick branches on which normally I would have had to use a bow-saw. Not only does the "Wilkinson Sword Telescopic Geared Anvil Lopper" make such a good job of cutting so easily, but also the cutting jaws can get access to parts of branches that are inaccessible to a bow-saw. I recommend this product to all who will read this review.

Great loppers
Great loppers- bought as a gift for my father-in-law, but with the intention of my 14 year old son being able to use them for him. Had a lot of heavy cutting to do on an area not in easy reach, these loppers did the job- may even treat myself to a pair too!

They cut a treat
So pleased I choose these ones, they extend so easily and have five settings which lock-in position. They are light in weight to carry and hold up to cut branches, hardly any effect is necessary to use they to cut ,if you need telescope loopers buy these.

Easy to use
Just used these, for tackling some of the larger 'bits' of my conifer hedge. Was able to trim the hedge with no problem. When you need to trim a hedge and don't want to climb a ladder with a power tool these little beauties did the job well.

Poor design
disappointed by worse design - bought to replace a 10 year old pair of wilkinson sword and tbh am still using old pair. they have metal stop that jars when you close them, flop open when carried and the mechanism to extend is awkward and flimsy

Cuts well up to the point.
Strong, easy to use and cuts well. The telescopic handles have positive locks to avoid accidents. The only downside it does not cut well at the tip of the cutter so you need a pair of small secateurs to supplement this product to prune small twigs.
