Extremely Low Latency = Important for video editors
When I purchased this, I was looking to add a decent wireless around-ears headset that can keep up with video editing. I edit videos (wedding, commercials, etc..) for a living using professional broadcast-style cameras. When utilizing headsets for editing, my biggest requirement was: Comfortable, Surround Sound (true, not emulated), and low latency. In adobe premiere, I can do full 7.1 Surround track editing easily. latency, is not noticeable at all. at less than 40ns for latency, definitely worth using to edit.Battery life is great. Charges quickly, and the fit is great, except for my small head (which is smaller than normal it seems) so it fits, but not too snugly. They don't move while I have them on, so that's a bonus to it, and I can wear these for hours with glasses with no pain by ears (unlike on-ear). Latency is huge, but since I edit at my apartment, I also needed true surround sound. I can't edit with real sound systems or I get complaints, so these do great. Adobe sees them no issue, and Macs can use them at minimum (iCue exists for Macs, and at minimum you get mic and stereo on a Mac without a third-party driver). No need to buy a Dolby codec in Windows 10, since these present 7.1 actual speakers to the system.Windows 7 works great as well, I assume 8 and 8.1 would work just as well.I can accurately hear low-tonal audio, so I don't miss anything, nor is the bass overly-driven (unlike Beats). These quickly replaced my older Bose Quiet Comfort stereo sound-cancelling wired headsets from early 2000's as I am not yanking my head back due to getting up and forgetting the cord plugged in (you can also use these while they charge by plugging in USB cable and turning on headsets).Mics are ok for speech like Skype, and a friend with a damaged trachea from a surgery can use these too. His voice is extremely low, and the mic on this can be set up very sensitively to capture what is barely a whisper for db levels.I highly recommend, the light is great and all, but I just turn it off to get extra battery life. Extremely recommended, especially for people editing. For the record, I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Black Magic Davinci Studio and (only if need-b) Final Cut Pro X on a 2008 Mac Pro.The low latency I cannot stress enough, which I thought would be an issue with USB. Even works on a USB 2.0 Hub with hard drives attached, no glitches/drop-outs. Also, range seems to be about 50ft in my apartment from transciever to headset location before dropping out. Wireless internet (which only mobile devices use in my apartment, everything else is 10/40Gbit Ethernet (yup, you read that right), has no effect on it, neither with dual 2.4Ghz 802.11n/ac or 5.0Ghz n/ac, so wireless networks don't interfere or get interference from this headset

battery fried on me twice. and i had to return for a 3rd pair.
why the hell am i rating this 5 stars you ask?well i also have a corsair hs70 which is problem free. Love those too.But these are really comfortable. cloth for ear piece wicks away moisture and there is a level of noise cancellation. My head size is medium for a guy and they fit nice and not too tight. these may be a bit loose for smaller heads.Range is great, sound is great. Died on me twice, new fried within a week, refurb fried nearly after return time window but i was able to exchange it.Only complaint? volume dial doesnt work with PS4. Have to adjust in ps4 settings.HS70 has an analogue dial for volume control on headphones that work for everything but void pro is more like a button that works under your operating system, in conjunction with the dongle.Risky but the comfort these offer are worth it. be sure to test a lot within the return period. My buddy with those fancy beats headphones was also very impressed. they cost like $80 compared to those $300.Sure it uses a dongle and not bluetooth but its more of a sure thing and less chances of volume lag that will kill any immersion.

WOW!!! and then a bummer.
This headset is a dream!!! It is beyond comfortable wearing it for many hours at a time. It has a very solid feel to it, not flimsy at all yet not heavy on my head. The ear pads are very nice and my ears don't get all hot and sweaty like some headsets with leather or vinyl cushions. The sound is absolutely amazing!!!! As a sound engineer I have some very very expensive headphones that I use when setting up my studio or doing editing work. The sound on these, which is totally customizable, is fantastic. I have watched several 4K movies with these and the 7.1 sound....again...WOW!!!!The microphone is very nice. Everyone I talked with said it's the best I have sounded in our chats. They all knew I had a new set up as soon as I started talking. With the software: iCUE from Corsair you get options to change the colors of the LED's, flashing patterns, EQ settings, Voice information settings, etc.The bummer came when something happened with the power. I tried to turn on the headphones and the light flashed as if it was turning on, but then nothing. And nothing I did would get them to turn on. Fully charged. I left them overnight and even when I plugged them back in the next day the charge light wouldn't come on. After pressing the power button 40-50 times (lost count) and getting ready to click on RETURN ITEM they came on. Everything was fine for a while, then they started losing connection with the transmitter (usb.) This would happen often, but no particular reason or timing. The sound would simply go away and then come back. I am thinking there is a power issue with the headphones and have discussed it with Corsair Tech support. When you turn off the headphones the light on the transmitter goes out. When you turn them on, if you have voice activated, you hear it tell you it is powering up, charging (if plugged in) and then Microphone status. Mic On or Mic Off. Well the Mic Off message kept happening every time it lost connection with the transmitter. And the transmitter light would be flash off then on. Anyway, Corsair is doing the exchange for me as they wish to get this set back and figure out what the problem is.This would absolutely be a 10 star product...but I can only do 5...and I cut one because as a certified refurbished, it should have been tested a bit better, I think.. I am hoping that because this one WAS Certified Refurbished that it still qualifies me for their replacement...if not, then I will have to attempt to get Amazon to allow me to replace it here even though it will be after my 30 days since I have to send them in and then IF they send them back..that's about 2 weeks total....But, again, this is a MUST BUY headphone system for anyone serious about SOUND!!!!WOW!

Very nice headphones for the price paid.
I already have 2 pairs of these headphones. I bought these because I liked the white and the battery does not last nearly as long as claimed. I get about 6 hours using the microphone and audio for streaming. So I can just switch headphones when the battery dies. I purchased one pair new and this and one other pair refurbished. They all last about the same amount of time. Auto mute when lifting the microphone, very comfy super soft ear cushions. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions though the head band because of it's shape tends to start getting a bit uncomfortable after several hours. Solved this by wearing a baseball cap.

Impressive
Bought for my daughter to use on discord and while gaming. Might be a mistake.. the noise cancelling is so good that she never hears me anymore!

Good but room for improvement.
Sound quality is good, clarity is better, microphone is better than expected, range of transmission is great going through two walls and over 15m away without a hitch. Only complaint is that the headset is very loose (and I have a big head) with no way that I can tell to adjust that, now that's good because you can wear it forever without your ears or head hurting but you can't for example, look up fast without it flying off.

Not good
-Poor microphone quality(not adjustable due to manufacturer settings). Short battery lifeMicrophone “sidetone” disables everytime mic is swiveled up into the muted position(Corsair has been aware of this issue since 2018 and not issued fix)Bad speaker quality compared to lesser value headsets.Bought these for my son for Christmas. We were away and by the time we got back, the window for return was expired. Not happy at all! Also the volume control adjuster not always responsive.
