I like the way it looks, but the instructions have mistakes, or the pieces are mislabeled. I found out at the end when I had to put in the last 2 screws for the canvas...I bought 2 of them and both were mislabeled, I thought I misread it but no. BE CAREFULL, follow the picture not the letters on parts of the support beam . ALSO many holes did not line up right ( see pictures). I was expecting an IKEA type diy quality but was not. The build is painful , it will take you forever because of those manufacturing defect. The set up itself is easy, but I wasted time on screws stuck, spinning and a bunch of defect in the making....one of the bearing pills was missing holes so I had to drill them myself, thankfully aluminum is easy to work with!!! I probably will never buy this again- you will need more tools to fix those defects. too bad because I like the look and price!!!

This thing is crap!! The most frustrating thing to put together!! The instructions show only diagrams, no wording. Several parts were left out. The predrilled holes did not line up. Took two frustrating days to assemble. If you aren't a handy person you will never get it. It was the two of us using our own ingenuity to assemble. The first day up the wind blew and we came home to every pole in the canvas had pulled apart and hanging. Had to get the ladder out, reattach every pole. My husband secured them together so that can't happen again. When you pull the canvas back there is no way to keep in that position. Once again we figured out how to rectify that problem. I am a seamstress so I had the ability to sew velcro. Too much of a headache. Certainly NOT worth $300!!!!

We got this to cover a small seating area in our backyard. It was difficult to assemble, as many of the pre-made holes were just slightly off from where they should have been placed. This required me to slightly bend the metal or use my own bolts in some spots. Once I got it assembled, I'm very happy with it. It's sturdy, but light enough to move if I wanted.

Very nice canopy has met my expectations. The only downside were the directions on how to build it. We had to undo a couple of screws due to the directions not being very informative on where or how to place some of the legs. It was very important to place legs facing a certain way or at the end it would not work when putting the roof part. Since directions didn’t mention anything we placed them how we thought they should be placed, but at the end we had to undo two legs to fix it. Besides that, it is now built and looks amazing in our backyard !

The retractable canopy and attractive design make this the perfect gazebo for our small back patio. It is up year round in the midwest (though well-protected from wind by the house and fence) and has held up through everything. We just open it up in the snow so that there's no accumulation on the canopy. It is just as handy in the rain (when sealed with a silicon spray) as it is in the sun. After over a year, there is the usual fading in the tan canopy, but eventually we'll just dye it back to good and reseal it with Scotchguard. Love it!

This is the biggest waste of money! The holes don’t line up as many others have stated and the directions are exclusively diagrams. If you are interested in buying take the $300 and throw it out the car window at 65 mph and then take a hammer and knock yourself in the head.

Great pergola for the price! Had a small issue with one of the rods for the canopy being the wrong one but the had one shipped out right away. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought this gazebo about a year ago. Its decent quality and has held up well.
