Compact--Lets Disabled Travel!
This mattress overlay allows me to travel on an airline for the 1st time in 30 years, its compact size able to roll up into a 3-1/2" x 30" tube that can bend to fit into a carry-on bag. Yet it's robust blown up, furnishing 3-4" of cushioning interspersed with holes that provide the continually adjusting pain relief I need for my rare orthopedic/nerve disorder if I want to sleep in a hotel bed. The cushioning amount is variable according to the amount of air placed in it, so it can be customized. Better yet is the hand pump that doesn't require any electricity if you're in a more remote spot without power. Although I read this overlay was originally designed to prevent bedsores in infirm populations in nursing/rehab facilities and for patients undergoing long hospital surgeries in hospitals, its compact size makes it an outstanding--and affordable!--overlay for disabled people with a host of conditions who want more freedom to travel, like me. The company that makes this deserves 10 stars. Just wish I could buy a custom fabric travel sleeve to protect the overlay on trips!

Comfort for a picky back.
Great back pain relief! This mattress makes it possible for me to sleep in a bed as opposed to my recliner. I get much better sleep this way

Mom bed bound and needs extra comfort and support. She could do without it.

Doesn't last long for the price
Very pricey for the length of time it lasts before it springs a slow leak. I've purchased quite a few now, so I can swear to that.

Did Not Hold Air From Day One
Bought this for my mother who had a stroke. Had used several of the regular EHOB mattresses that are very comfortable and amazing as far as comfort is concerned, but are not made for long term use and usually would only last a few months before they started losing air. So I decided to get the long term model that is supposed to last a lot longer for twice the price. Unfortunately did not need to use it until after the return window closed because the regular one actually lasted more than nine months. Got this one out and filled it with its pump the exact number of pumps called for. Next day it seemed to have lost a lot of air but I thought it might just be that it had stretched out on its first use. So filled again. No luck. Keeps losing air. Doesn’t hold air for even one night. Now I guess I have to try to get the manufacturer to replace it. Good luck to me.
