Though I'm not using it as intended. The Drive and Blade Drive pulleys on my John Deere X320 are held and tensioned by nice long springs. Saw a video with a man using a spring hook he had because of his dirt bikes and searched Amazon. Now sure my lawn tractor isn't the same as a dirtbike but springs is springs and it works great. I got them to pull a spring on my mower deck. I since lost count on the amount of times I have used them. They have helped me pull and repair items I could have never done without them. I like them so much I now have 3 sets. One set for each tool box i own. I do not want to be with out them. Fantastic tools for the price. I have use them have and they have not broke.

Excellent product in its intended design. The welds under the T-handle are a bit weak, but I was also trying to reposition the handle 90 degrees to suit my needs. Both the hook designs are good, in length and width. I am utilizing these to remove stubborn ignition coils from Mercedes engines. I may get another set for a friend, for the same purpose lol

I will use these tools for pulling on many different things when my fingers are not strong enough or when the item I need to pull is out of my reach. They are designated for motorcycle springs, but I do not own a motorcycle anymore. They would work very well for that function. I purchased them because I am a general do it yourself hobbyist and builder. I am often come up with creative solutions to problems and I find myself in need of a tool like this. They are very sturdy, easy to hold and just the right length to reach into tight spots.

the ends were to big for my use, I had to grind it down and rework the hook end

Ordered this to help with the full system exhaust install on my motorcycle. The ends of these tools are too thick for those type of springs. I had to grind them down to make it work.

This tool worked well for reattaching the tension spring on my zero turn mower. It fit through the hole in the frame where it needed to. It was shipped quickly.

These don't work AT ALL for what they are supposedly designed for. They are way too thick on the ends, so it leaves no room at all for the spring to be installed.
