Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt Hardcover – August 21, 2018

Content-wise, Kraven's Last Hunt is one best Spider-man stories I've read. The deluxe edition also comes with Kraven's First Hunt and Hunting The Hunter, that are basically prequels to the Last Hunt. Also there's a sequel to the original story, which depicts what effect the events had on Spidey's mind. There are some other interesting stories as well, all related to Kraven's Last Hunt, the last one about Spider-ham was very funny. Overall, content-wise I was very satisfied.As far as the book itself goes, so far it seems to be of very high quality and illustrations look amazing.

I’m a first reader for comics, overall I made a wise purchase and this comic book got hooked and most likely I’ll purchase more comics in the future.

absolutely classic story. the added content is not really necessary but still good reading. good quality hardcover. wish marvel would make this a movie!

This is a classic, and has not tarnished with time. The deluxe edition of the book includes some of Marvel's later attempts to revive Kraven/ capture the magic of the original, and they fall quite short. Its a good lesson of letting masterpieces like this to rest. Essential reading.

FANTASTIC BOOK! Absolutely loved rereading this excellent storyline!

But something about this work is too suspiciously "of its time" to feel like the great creative victory most consider it. Kraven's end under-whelms in the way most post-Watchmen "grim and gritty, comics ain't just for kids" comics underwhelm in hindsight - in a world post "Astro-City," "Saga," and even Moore's "Supreme." Give me the Spider-man Hobgoblin run circa issues 24os-250s any day, although I must say an adult Peter - not the lame kid-Peters of recent movies or the Ultimate Universe is a real break. Always adult Peter. He is US. And no billionaire inventor Peters, please. Another lameness with which I refuse to identify. The Peter in the dark, "I am Spider" thing sort of works. Lastly, I LOVE Kraven. I love original Kraven, which pre-dates me. I want a great Kraven film. Kraven and Mysterio over Venom any day. Peace out, brothers.

Amazing compendium of kravens last hunt as well as the what if and later issues in the run of kravens last

It's weird, and a bit deceiving. This thing is like an inch thick. Kraven's Last Hunt is only like the first 1/3 of it. After that is a bunch of other stuff - Kraven's first appearance, behind the scenes stuff, a bunch of other Kraven stuff. It sounds cool and all, but all of the extra stuff really kind of drags down the main story - which is awesome. Personally, if I were to buy this again, I'd just get the much smaller version - just the Last Hunt story. The extra stuff is "kinda" neat... once, but ultimately just a waste of space. It's now a huge book on the shelf, but for no good reason. Main Story : One of the best Marvel stories of the 80's/90's. A Classic!

Dark and moody classic

Este excelente "omnibus" de Kravens Last Hunt es un sueño hecho realidad, contiene todas las historias relacionadas y ademas si ya tenias los otros trades puedes retirarlos porque trae todas las introducciones, despedidas y en general todo el material extra de las otras ediciones e inclusive algunos nuevos y todo a un precio excelente.

This story arc was well after my time as a Marvel comic book collector. I finished collecting back around the mid-70s. But this story line was recommended, and as an avid fan of everyone's favourite friendly neighbourhood arachnid, I got me a copy . This book is a great compilation with a few extras, including a What If...? issue relevant to the story line and other original artwork and thumbnail descriptions of the artists and writers to boot. It is of similar size and quality to the Marvel 'Visionaries' series. Good quality and a fun addition to anyone's library. I highly recommend it.
