The old man Logan phone.
If you are ordering this pone you are like me. Outdoorsy and most likely you've dropped all other phones in pools, lakes, toilets, etc. This phone is a wonderful, inexpensive answer to my prayers. Not designed to be a processing powerhouse but more a indestructible little brick. I've thoroughly tested this device; dropping, submerging, and spraying, all this in the course of 6 months or so. Keep the ports closed and it will not let anything in.The front speakers are very loud and the built in altimeter and barometer are fairly accurate. Phone is dense, not just heavy. Feels of quality and the rubber sides give it a mil spec feel. If I had to give a likeness to this phone, it would be old man Logan; old, *slow, but tough as hell.*Slow compared to new phones. (iPhone, Samsung galaxy series)

not a phone for kids
This is the best smart phone ive owned hands down. Very clear sound quality even next to my tow truck running next to me very loud speaker phone also the darn things got some weight to it.As I said in my head line this isnt a phone for children to use as a good media platform. The apps do run like snapchat and face book ect. But they may lag a slight bit compared to a mainstream smart phones. For the work I do I love tbis phone and we just had a big rain storm in NJ and it got soaked but never crapped out I would recommend this to any man/woman that works in the elements that wants a good phone they wont worry about.

If you need a phone that is both smart and rugged and aren't worried about it being the fastest, this is a great option for you.
I bought this as a gift for my father who destroyed his first S3 on the day that he received it. So far (a few months now) this phone has lived up to it's rugged advertising. His only complaints are that occasionally it goes mute in the middle of call and he would like if it were a bit louder on speakerphone. I believe (but haven't confirmed) that he's holding the phone by the big red button on the side that is causing the phone to go to mute. As to the loudness of the speakerphone all I can say is that he complains about the volume on this phone much less than he has with any other phone.I have noticed this phone is noticeably more sluggish when compared to other current generation phones, but when reviewed on it's own the performance is quite acceptable. If you must have a rugged smart phone, this is a great option.

It was not worth the money...It was fine until today and 7 days after time passed to return the phone the speaker is not working and I cant access my pictures or my text messages

For 80$ why not but it's an $80 phone
So I bought this phone after my iPhone broke and wanted something cheap to get me by. The phone is durable, but buttons have already started sticking after two weeks. The battery is weak as it doesn't always fully charge over night or looses it's charge before lunch. The phone gets hot when you use it for a few minutes. The processor is slow but tolerable. In all for the cost and what you can do, it is still a functioning smart phone for fraction the cost of others...

Tough phone
My Duraforce phone stopped working after 5 years of a hard life. I'm a maintenance mechanic and engine builder. Can't count the times I dropped the phone. I received the new phone, installed my Sim card from old phone, and everything is working great. I'm buying a spare for the future. Awesome phone.

Tough phone but tough to operate too
I needed a new phone and refused to pay the ridiculous prices that AT&T charges. I am just a basic phone user who mostly texts and takes pictures so this phone seemed to fit the bill. I have to say I wasn't happy about getting an Android phone but we don't have many choices these days. It was loaded with apps that can't be removed and takes up most of the phone's memory. Even adding a 64 MB SD Many programs or apps can't be moved to the memory card. I find the phone settings difficult, I've have reset to a new ringtone but it doesn't use it.The camera has a couple of seconds delay so taking pictures of my babies is almost impossible. I regret getting it.

Much handier than most popular smartphones.
I very much like the compact size of this phone. Most smartphones are getting to be as large and heavy as some of the old second generation cell phones. This one fits easily into a shirt pocket, which is what I was looking for in a phone. Also, it is armored so is as durable straight from the factory as another phone with an expensive aftermarket armor. Battery life is as good as any available. Camera takes acceptable photos and video. All around, it is exactly what I want in a cell/smart phone.
