Got this from Amazon Resale and was described as like-new.The drive arrived in a plain brown box that was not taped shut and the bare drive was sandwiched between 2 plastic holder with no anti-static bag. This had me concerned so I immediately connected the drive via USB to a Win10 desktop and started running an extended write test with HD Sentinel Pro. The drive has 18 days and 11 hours of power-on time before I started the test. This may sound like a lot of power-on time but it isn't for a NAS drive.After 24 hours, I'm happy to report that the drive passed the test with zero read/write errors and is not sitting in a NAS.Purchasing from Amazon Resale saved me money which resulted in great value for a Synology-branded drive.
